@@KevinStock12 I saw the video it was great content . I myself have used band training and pull ups exclusively since retiring from rugby 15 years ago ( I am 58 ) I have maintained most I would day 95 percent of LBM from my peak at 35/ 36 . I only train 20 min 3 or 4 times per week and use the one set to failure principle . My body is really banged up from rugby my joints aren't in a good place but cosmetically I look fairly similar to when I hit HEAVY weight hard ! It amazing how little you need for maintenance If you keep the schedule going (also zero peds) I would encourage people to give band training a try. Especially older athletes with joints or body issues. Add the carnivore diet it's a great combo ! However I know 100 percent if I stepped under an Olympic bar I could snap in half 🤣🤣 but you gotta do what you can

I've been using the X3 for over a year now and love it. Lifting free weights always seemed to injure my joints and would have to stop. Not so with the X3! I have a very similar set-up that I use for my home workouts. I love it because I can do squats to true failure and not worry about crumpling under a heavy bar. I don't do the typical challenge but instead do hour-long workouts five mornings a week to wake me up for my day. Combining the heavy front squats with some affordable heel elevators from Amazon has been helping to take my quads to the next level.
@justinbloom66592 жыл бұрын
Ive been doing X3 for nearly 4 years. I'd suggest you do split squats (instead of front) and go a band lighter on Overhead Press so you can get a fuller range of motion. I think you'll love the system, especially with your existing muscle. Shouldn't be any issue maintaining or even building some (slowly and safely)

I've been interested in getting this and it's so expensive. Since you're been using for so long, can you explain why this system is better than just using resistance bands?
@Aircheekz2 жыл бұрын
@@dixonhouse first off, these aren't regular resistance bands you can buy at Walmart... secondly, the plate and bar are built to last and help prevent injuries that would likely occur from trying to use it without a bar or foot plate attachment. also its not truly that expensive... im virtually poor due to health issues (no exaggeration) but was able to afford it due to just using Affirm to pay for it monthly. it only sounds expensive because many of us are used to some cheaply made "fitness device" being just a couple hundred dollars, which eventually serves no real purpose but staying in a closet to collect dust! X3 isn't that at all!

@@dixonhouse way I see it is that you’re investing in your health so spending $550 isn’t that much when you look at it that way, considering what can happen if you don’t take care of your body and need to make much more expensive trips to the hospital. You can also think of the fact that if you paid for a gym membership for more than 3 years or so it’ll end up costing more for a membership than the one time payment of this system.

Even though I won't deny it will work the way it is portraied, I just can't wrap my head around the markup. It's like I buy steaks for 50 instead of 10 bucks "just because it is the human apropiate food". I just don't want to support a greedy markup scheme. When I watched the video of the creator I was ready to blast 50-100 bucks, but when I saw the price I closed the page immediately. If it ever goes down to 1-200 bucks maybe, but as long as people are promoting a way over the top priced item it is just marketing, and I wont partake in it.

@@mp7925 I appreciate your comments. I believe you understand my curiousity that a stick with some bands for half a K in € seems very overpriced. Honestly, after thinking of it in perspective, comparing it to f.e. a gaming console, it certainly would be a good investment^^. It is just such a big payment, like, after paying 100€ for keto chow electrolyte drops, 50€ redmons real salt, now this. For a way of living that should be deficient in nothing it kinda is friggin expensive, you know what I mean? I guess personal health is priceless, I possibly will think it over. A very demotivational aspect as an european certainly is that I have to pay 30% more for shipping/toll(had to pay 60€ for 0,8kg of Readmonds Real Salt f.e.), hope this isn't the case for this product(+ ofcourse at least a month shipping time). May I ask, did you order from US or another continent? If the latter, price/delivery time?

Do you think that not eating could mimic this after.24.to 36 hrs for fat adapted athletes? I norice a definite increase in alertness and state of heightened arousal ( danger ) the hungrier I get !
