BEFORE LEAVING A COMMENT TELLING ME COAST GAURD REGULATIONS, please be aware that I fully understand the required degree of visibility per USCG and fully acknowledge that my boat is not in compliance. THIS IS SIMPLY A VIDEO TO SHOW YOU THE LED LIGHTS AND HOW I DID MY INSTALL. Take what you can from it and by all means, install your navigation lights your way. I recommend always checking rules and regulations before installing. Me personally, decided the traditional deck mount nav lights ran in your grandpa's boat did not fit the aesthetics of my build. I opted the route you see in this video. I fish mainly only electric only reservoirs with minimal boat traffic and hardly ever am out after dark. These lights, believe it or not, are more than most boats on electric lakes have. If I were to go in larger bodies of water or the ocean per say, I would reevaluate my navigation light set up. Based on my personal circumstances and where I fish, this is my choice of how i modify my boat. As always, please take what you can from this video, if you feel to be the USCG rules and regulations guy and drop a comment, I will probably delete it.

In the latest video of #tinyboatgarage featuring the #topgunjonboat, I go over the installation process of my LED NAVIGATION LIGHTS.
The format on this video is different, more of a "how I did it", opposed to my usual step by step approach. Nonetheless, I go over in detail the materials/tools needed, as well as the install process of how I installed my led nav lights with a custom interior lip/catch system.
Check it out! Feedback welcomed! Enjoy!
