Nightwing. Dick Grayson is my favorite character in all of fiction. However, Jason Todd is my second favorite character in all of fiction. So this two-pack was a must-buy for me!

Red Hood can stand on his own. If anything, all this pack is doing is selling Nightwing. If it was like the Scorpion/Raiden two pack with a $30 reduced price, sure it's a steal. Flash/Red Death annoyed me because I hated the face for Flash in that pack. Red Death could stand on his own.

By the way the nightwing looks completely different from the giant picture they put on the box. The figure is just a repaint of the already exists rebirth version, while the picture they referencing is from the new 52 version.

Picked up this pack a little back. Overall I’m happy. I kinda like the Nightwing figure, but obviously Red Hood is the selling point here. The biggest thing with Red Hood that annoyed me is that is wrists are permanently bent in due to the glove cuffs. You can’t straighten the wrists! Meaning when you’re posing him, he’s always aiming a weird angle. A LOT of hot water (and swearing) got them semi-straight.

Ya, the wrists are really annoying... definitely the biggest downside to this figure for me. I'd be able to look passed every thing else if the wrists were decent. Still a badass Red Hood figure regardless though!

I actually like that aesthetic. And I think calling this artistic choice proportion a mistake is unfair. Its like calling Mickey a mistake because he does not look like a mouse. You gotta respect artistic choices(specially Anthony). I think that is an important part of the figure´s charm.

@@luizpascotto7342 Even if it's an artistic choice, these are super hero action figures, their limbs shouldn't be that thin. You can't give them a super buff torso and slender limbs, that's not how it works.

@@nhyar how it works matters little in the world of art. Having big buff torso and slender limbs was the concept in the 2000s Justice League animation as well, remember? Unless the objective of an art is to portray the subject in a realistic fashion, there is no such thing as an aspect "you cant give". If such a rule existed people could not create funko and nendoroid figures of superheroes because "you can´t make superheroes have giant heads, short limbs and child like muscles", but such a rule does not aply. Please understand I am not saying this is the correct way to portray superheroes in a "professional comic artist way", it simply is McFarlene´s style of choice.

​@@bctan2291 Well the proper way is what is endgame is. Does he want it to look like a real person or does he want a stylized look just like his own artwork? Elongated limbs plus a larger torso. May be trying to make a more heroic look. Additionally these guys are acrobats more then their boss.

DCC's isn't bad, but it's comparable to the Mcfarlane. DCC's proportions are even worse. Head much smaller in proportion to his body, arms too long, wrists too long, low detail on the jacket. Only upside to DCC is his arms can go straight ahead. And well he comes with extra hands.

Lol nice, just last night I happened to luckily find this 2-pack in the wild at a Target in SoCal and now get to open it accompanied by a fresh AnthonysCustoms review! I'm wondering if there's any difference between this 2-pack version of Red Hood and the single-carded release. I remember watching a review for the single-carded one and I could've sworn the wrist joints were different, but I might just be remembering wrong. Regardless, I would have to say that this is indeed the best Red Hood figure release so far, but still, of course, with it's flaws.

Nightwing I understand during these kinds of variants. Hasbro does it all the time but the are more cases of doing more then less. Also they don't hide most variants before another figure like Red Death or Red hood. With this figure in particular, they could reuse most of the body but Mcfarlane has made some fixes that could have improved this form. They've implemented these fixes on other bodies. I don't mind that it exists, I mind at the how it's being distributed. Red Hood Great figure(sans the usual Mcfarlane issues).......get the solo release if you don't care about Nightwing. My problem here was that they hid the solo release for so long after people had preordered the two pack. The harder plastic on the holsters might be a good thing for a bad reason. Prevent the legs from out too far. I think the thigh hinges are terrible. They are too thin an easy to snap. I don't know why Mcfarlane uses them if the diaper is just going to hinder splits in most of the figures. Switch to a ball joint or something better. It's the source of all problems with the upper thigh articulation. Red Hood is more a skinny guy. I think the card out is very exaggerated. It's like a bulkier Nightwing.

I don't know much about anatomy, but subconsciously my brain does. Something about the arms on red hood REALLY throw me off. It's not just that they are skinny but I think they have an oddball curve to them. I dunno I just know that I've never seen him posed in a way that makes it look better

Regarding question of the day, Nightwing hands down, no contest. Love Red Hood, but Dick Grayson is my all time favorite DC character and very close second favorite fictional character after Spidey. Regarding the figures, I didn’t notice it when I looked at it in the store, but seeing it closer in the review, Nightwing’s costume is inaccurate. It’s colored like the New 52 one, but it’s actually just a repaint of the Rebirth one they did at the start of this line, so the design is wrong. Kinda lame.
