In this video I'm going to be ranking EVERY SINGLE SUIT in Gotham Knights.
This will cover all the suits for Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood, as well as the suits from the Visionary Pack DLC (I didn't include Batman because he isn't a playable character, but it's a 7.5/10 tbh)

Yeah, no you aren't the only one who thinks Damien whenever a medieval-ish, hooded, assassin outfit with the red and desaturated green color scheme appear. Although Damien also comes to my mind from the red Nightwing outfits, mainly due to the first Injustice game.

All the suits are customizable to an extent in Gotham Knights. What you're grading off is the transmogs that can go over the suit gear but can't be customized. Knighthood, Knightwatch, Talon, and Raider are the transmog exclusive outfits.

I'll be doing a part 2 once I get the rest of the customizable suits. I'm surprised people didn't point that out earlier because I had no idea you could unlock and customize almost all of them, that is a pretty cool feature

So something with this the transmog options are set versions of the suits like new guard is just his default but with some of its customisation options changed like you can change the beyond suit Once you unlock all the suits you can customise parts on them and change the colour schemes (Also all the characters have colour options to give them the colours of the other characters)

Batgirl Noir is probably my favourite. Especially with other colour schemes. Feels like a more mature look but keeps the comic-y feel for her. Plus with all the detective work and sleuthing you can do in this game... It just works really well imo.

Although I'm late to the punch, I can't help but respectfully point out that there are customization options for all suits except Talon, Knighthood, Knightwatch and Raider transmongs. Similar to the Beyond Suit where you have to get the gear, which personally I wish it wasn't like that having played the game. I personally like a lot of the character customization although again wish there was a transmong customizations option. Hopefully you can do a Part 2 or something if you are playing through the game, don't want to assume. Really those customization features improve the designs, especially for Dick and Tim.

To be fair it seems you didn’t go through all the possible customizations so if people don’t like a certain look or color it can be changed for the most part. Unfortunately not all the suits can be changed but it was still worth mentioned at least.

It really bugs me that if you look at an actually robin bird, it’s black, orange, and white but the suits are typically red, yellow, and green

For me the problem with Nightwings Knighthood suit was his massive package because it just sticks out stupidly far for no reason and non of the other suits do it. Also some of his suits have red instead of blue because the artists who designed them took inspiration from the new 52 stuff where he has red instead of blue. Robins' suits to me are for the most part okay. Some of them are dumb but scream "robin". Like i could see him actually going bald. I like all of Barbara's suits. My favourites are probably the default one, the shinobi one (rocked that one like 90% of the game) and the beyond suit but all of her suits absolutely slap. It feels like she had the most effort put in to her suits. Red hoods skins look pretty good. I never played him but i should have done

I agree with a lot of what was said, but quite a few of these suits are drastically improved if you actually get the gear and customize the pieces and colors. Just the transmogs are like "default" versions of the styles, but changing masks and colors specially drastically improves the costumes.

Feels like Batgirl is the only character the developers cared about. Most of her looks are decent-to-great, while all the others have only a couple okay ones. Also, no surprise that the Jim Lee-designed Knightwatch ones were the standout for each character.

Yay, I'm so happy. I thought you'd skipped this game. Personally, I love it. I know controversial, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts. Update, you need to find the Bluprints for the suit, then craft and then you can modify them(mask, arms, legs,logo,boots , pain in the butt I know, also you need to do a bunch of challenges to unlocks colors Anyways you can make the titan suit blue. So a fun fact about the Knight Watch skin is they were desighned by Tobb McFarlane so thats pretty cool, bud why the shoulder pads Todd whyyy.

I played it very breifly before doing the rankings and I am looking forward to playing more of it! I do think this is going to be one of those games I'll play leisurely with a friend at my own pace. And yes, now that I've been informed of the fact that you can customize each of the suits, I'll redo this once i get all of them. I did see that the suits were designed by him! It's interesting that he made the decisions he did when it came to what I *didn't* like about those suits

I think the night watch suits are the best for all of em, the blue on dick is too purple l, id prefer a cobalt or dark blue, hair sucks but eh, robins nightwatch suit is actually my favourite suit in the game weirdly enough, its just kinda perfect, i dont even remember what red hood nightwatch suit looks like, im not crazy abt jason anywho tho, batgirls nightwatch suit is definitely the second best suit in the game.

I wish he ranked the actual unlocked suits rather than the transmog versions. The suits in the game aren't great, but the transmogs are the worst version of each suit most of the time. A lot of issues peesent could be changed if you unlock suit's variation pieces and colorways

I feel like this suit review was done WAY too soon in playtime, because all of the suits have customizable elements and I think they all can be upwards of 8 with the right color ways and custom pieces. Also your dislike of the Knighthood outlines on Nightwing is really irking me. Especially the comment about Batman's having the yellow outline and looking silly. If I remember right, New 52 Batman had a yellow outline on his logo the whole time and it looked good, and Batman in this looked GOOD. But your opinion is your own ofcourse, great video still

1. Knigntwatch 2. Talon 3. Knighthood 4. Default/STOCK 5. Raider These to me are the best suits in Gotham Knights. I want to Like ETERNAL, Metal and the BEYOND suits but there hit and is on Robin and Nightwing, Batgirl and Redhood's look far better. Robin has the worst suits and BATGIRL definitely has the BEST SUITS IN THE GAME but yh the lack of iconic suits was a big miss.

Red hood's original has brown in the vest and should be black so you don't like it but in the Knighthood suite you say the suite is mostly black so the vest should be of different color like brown!!!!?????

Batgirl's comic accurate suit is better, but I prefer the other one even though it's not as good (imo). I don't like Jason's default in general, but with the knighthood I'd like see what it would look like if the jacket (not vest) was brown

Problem is the original ones all look absolutely awful in my opinion, I hate how all the textures look plastic like, the shapes are generic and boring asf, color palettes are ugly... Like I love doing chara-design/costume design, it's a thing I spend a lot of time on, and I've seen a reaaaal lot of designs in various aesthetics, so I think I'm kinda legitimate. So I'm gonna say it, those are lames. Whoever designed those may come from some expensive dumbass graphic school, they're still bad at what they are doing and shouldn't be it art. At least not before going through a bit of character development. Because all of these have an absurdly trashy art direction. It neither looks good nor actually practical as armors, colours are really off.. And the shapes have no identities, it's both generic as fuck and the exact combination of not actually detailed, with aggressive shiny plastic/silicone textures, yet still somehow overdesigned with shitty useless adding of boring lines and extra heneric shapes that I absolutely hate because it adds nothing, complexify the reading, while not actually being thoughtful... It just looks as generic and overdesigned as if it was AI generated, and I both hate the general shapes, really Fortnit-ish/cheap, and those irrealistic textures without actual texturing and "actual material" aspects.. I don't like this art direction It's the same problem I had with Injustice Games and Mortal Kombat, and it makes sens looking at the studio.
