Rarest but not sought after. The old SSJ Goku has the 1.0 joints and they're pretty bad now, especially compared to 2.0

SSJ5Gogetenks Nah it's just the lighting, i have the figure irl and it looks perfect almost identical to the anime. The shade of green is somehow off to the anime but idk, other than that it looks better than the old cell figure

He's a lot more eye catching being more vibrant and saturated. I think I'm happy with the model kit for the time being though. I'll probably pick up the Bandai America Cell to suit my display. I just want him to be a little beefier than this mold. I expect they'll do a complete redo eventually, especially if this one sells well, and I'll probably grab it. Love the paint but the dimensions don't do it for me.

Im a new collector and I too feel that he should be a tad beefier than in all the versions Ive seen to far. Though might still grab this one. If I can even find it anywhere... in southern canada and as far as anything goes we have fuck all. That includes these awesome guys.

It's funny. In terms of color, it's like they needed a color in between the old one and this one. I never had the old one so I'm super happy with this release and even though the color isn't 100 percent perfect the figure really catches your eye and looks good on the shelf.

Looks great. The only thing that bothers me is that the joints are bright purple when its supposed to be dark purple. Is it possible to switch the joints with the OG version of perfect cell?

It's not supposed to be anime accurate but Manga accurate. If you watch some of the corlorized covers of the manga, you'll see that this Cell is closer to the manga than the anime ^^

Despite the lower price point now I find myself hesitating. Before this recoloured version, I bought the Bandai Figure Rising Cell, sure you have to build it yourself but the articulation does not disappoint, plus he is a much bigger and more imposing figure that you said you expected Cell to be. Comes with two energy effects as well. So I am struggling to find a reason to get this re-issue, Also much cheaper and I'd recommend you to check it out.

I ended up buying the older one for a good price on eBay. The thing that threw me off with this new one is that the base of the neck area is colored black when it should be his actual skin color (it was correct on the older one). And also the purple areas are too bright, almost pink colored. I was hoping to get this new one but at least it lowered the price on the old one..

Im trying to get either one of the two Cell figures, I mainly want the Original because I like the dark green but I might get this. On Ebay they're charging like 70 Bucks that I definitely wont be putting up with, but I found one for like 42 Bucks so I might get that. I'm also trying to get a Golden Frieza, Son Goku and a Vegeta that can switch to the super saiyan faces and hair!

The old Animes color wasn't correct, you know how Popo was Vlack, yeah he is supposed to be Blue, they did t recolor him, they just had a shitty version of the anime. The Kia has closer to correct colors and cell is much brighter.

Casey Jones Actually Mr Popo was originally black. The altered his color in the original english DUB, they were worried about insulting out black community. Mr. Popo looks like he has black face which was an extremely racist way of portraying blacks in early animation

Kevin Kataren yeah they are decent dragon Ball figures definitely better than the ones made by jakks pacific and the old super battle collection figures from bandai but not quite as good as the dragon Ball sh figuarts line. I think this sh figuarts premium color cell is great I like it more than the model kit personally I feel the cell is big enough not quite too slim but fits in scale enough with the rest of the dbz line.
