What makes her father’s reaction so much more touching is the fact he’d just received a cancer diagnosis, but never told his family until after the BGT finale so as to not take away from his little girl’s moment. The cancer ended up being terminal, but he got to see his little girl shine, and you can it in his eyes that the emotions he shows is more than just fatherly pride.

Vitaliq, I understand your comment. The purpose of the flights is to 'do her own thing, to defy things which weight her down'. In doing so, her freedom is expressed through flight (I see her as a butterfly) with no ties of life's demands we are all weighted under; when to go to bed, when to eat. Work is in the picture also even if you don't like your job. All the rules; there are so many. She is lucky to freely defy these chains of life. Thanks for reminding me of this; I was caught up in the beauty of her flight. I should have supported her by exposing her message.

I love Simon's expression right before the music starts, like he's trying to hide a grimace because he's expecting a complete train wreck. The second time we see him he's moved to "hmmm", and the third time you can see he knows she's got it.
After listening to other versions of the song I felt compelled to come back and applaud a phenomenal performance by the 12 year old. She is just amazing ❤❤❤❤❤ What a voice!!!!

It's fitting Beau chose a Broadway melody because she is a performer not a singer. As soon as the music started the nervous young girl disappeared and a strong, determined and immensely talented young woman appeared. It was amazing, the dramatic movements to accentuate certain notes, the low to high range and the gasps that are part of sweeping Broadway musicals were jawdropping and gave me, just as the judge, goosebumps. I've seen some great singers and been blown away by some unexpected voices but none were on a par with Beau. As stated there are those unexpected voices that surprise you all the way through. However with Beau the surprise lasted for merely a moment because it became clear that she OWNED that song, she commandeered the stage and had the audience in the palm of her hand. I've watched the vid several times now and it WOWs me each time. I hope she won. Let me also thank AY.

Thank you IM. I see you have an avatar whilst most of us ninnies have letters. Shame she didn't win, but talent like hers, once it's showcased will get her attention and eventually work. There's a vid of her singing Memory from a year earlier on another talent show. I figure she has a kind of opera/Broadway mix.
@Paul-D-Hoff7 жыл бұрын
Not a singer, well now, that is your opinion not mine. Not all singers can sing every song to its limit.
@the1stJZ7 жыл бұрын
Well she's performed with the London Philharmonic and is on tour this year.
@OneVoiceMore7 жыл бұрын
I would've said not JUST a singer, because, clearly, incontrovertibly, the girl has pipes like extremely few her age, and many older pro singers. Small distinction, but noteworthy.
@deborahwood93048 жыл бұрын
I could watch this a dozen times - no question she's had training but at TWELVE??? SUCH control and possession of the song and the stage just flat OWNS them... you can't teach that kind of magic -- you either have it or you don't and she definitely HAS IT!

She was nervous because that’s a very intimidating stage to be on! The fact that she nailed the song doesn’t mean she wasn’t nervous.

What amaze me is the transformation that happens as soon the music begins. She's very nervous, everybody can see that. Her eyes change completely, she became a "monster" of confidence, specially at the end of the song. After that, she is back to "normal", very sky.
