Why is everyone saying it was boring? I really enjoyed the performance, you could hear her beautiful voice. It's raw talent. It was BEAUTIFUL. Not every performance needs flashing lights, back up dancers and dance routines. I did not find this boring at all. - only my opinion.

Agreed with nicole on this one. It's just impossible for me not to think of Whitney and the life and soul that went into this song. In comparison this just seemed lifeless. Even the damn doves in the background seemed cheesy and made me feel a loss of meaning for this song and the showmance of this season. I think Emily is good, she just needs to get the right song.

Unfortunately, it does not matter if this is terrible. The show has become nothing but a bunch of attempts to manipulate. They have withstood the backlash vs Honey G, by giving her the prime spot and overpraising what is a bunch of crap. So when they go on about Emily and this snooze fest (Nicole tells it to go somewhere, right. Simon telling her rudely to "shut up: because she is right) where she hits a few strange notes, where she has twice done so called "original" versions of songs that I have heard almost note for note before and where she admittedly does not have the strongest of voices, all of it matters not. They gave poor Freddy the worst edits imaginable/ Simon knocked his vocal week one, and he did deserve critique. However Simon did not say a negative word about most of the other week one performances, almost all of which were terrible. So poor Freddy who clearly had a gorgeous tone to his voice and was definitely very musical, an artist, gets eliminated week 2, while 4 of diamonds still cant sing a harmony in tune, where Honey G can not sing a note period, or rap well either, for that matter, where Ryan bores us every week etc etc etc continue on. The show right from the picks at Judges homes has become a joke and just another way to massage Simons ego. When Nicole finally tries to make a point and I am repeating an earlier comment, Simon tells her non stop to "SHUT UP" SHUT UP" SHUT UP, there is a major problem. The idea is for the judges to help the singers by telling them what to improve upon. Unfortunately, that is not what the show does, not ever. I am so done with it.

That was boring I've heard that version done before Nyssa Collins X Factor New Zealand and she did it amazing this was when does it end. She was shaky in the beginning and you don't need a big voice to deliver a song you just need the song and so stage emotion and I think she should've done it with a choir.
