I cried every time i played it thought ( 7 Times) I'm just so proud of Saara and that she is going to be on Dancing On Ice in January 2019!!! I'm so proud of her when she was selected to represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal. I'm so proud of her music career because her voice is amazing and I believe that she is the true winner of The X-Factor 2016. Her personality is amazing and she is my idol. Probably my favorite of all her performances along with "Winner takes it all" and Chandelier (audition). This is a vocally GLORIOUS performance and in some respects even better than Whitney Houston's original. Her voice quality is easily distinctive enough for diva albums à la Dion, Houston et al. All she needs is a TOP producer with a TOP pair of ears (outside the SyCo circle) and TOP material to work with. "It's Oh So Quiet" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" were okay but not tailored for gathering votes and winning the X Factor so to a certain extent the result must have been a fix. Good for her!

EWTRTW was an absolute turd on paper, but she managed to turn it into gold. That song won her the first final. The Björk one does seem like a pure assassination by TPTB though. This song was perfect to perform last. Because it represented Saara's whole journey through the competition from being in the Bottom 2 twice at the beginning and then having her breakthrough moment with "It's Oh So Quiet" and then being in the bottom 2 again. After that she just went through the competition with determination, strength and amazing song choices.

Totally agree. Sadly when she sung this there was not enough of time to vote, but who actually cares. She's getting her contract and her journey was simply epic. It gets even more tragic beauty when the heroine falls at the battle field having given everything she had. Honestly there wasn't much to do as 5am supporters voted for Matt. Popularity and quality aren't necessarily the same thing, as we have seen here too.

Matt lauloi toisena lauluna One day I'll Fly awayn joka soi John Lewis brändin joulumainoksessa. Helppo nakki koukuttaa britit. Saaran hieno tulkinta Whitneyn I didn't know my own strength ei ollut niin tuttu suurelle yleisölle. Brittitabloidit kylmäsivät lauantain esiintymiset, jolloin Saaralla oli johtoasema. Pari tuntia ennen loppufinaalia tabloiden verkkoversioihin ilmestyi juttuja "Saara ei halua voittaa". Eiköhän noilla aika hyvin johdateltua Brexit-brittejä äänestämään "omaa poikaansa", johon havaijilaissyntyinen Nicolekin kehotti (tosin mainitsi aluksi vain Englannin, myöhemmin muisti myös Walesin, Skotlannin ja P-Irlannin). Saaran kannalta kakkossija on tässä tilanteessa luultavasti kuitenkin paempi.

Olette molemmat oikeassa. Mielestäni suurin sabotaasi oli Björk-kappale. Ei sillä kerätä laajasti ääniä. Lisäksi Saaralle annettiin paska pimeä valaistus tähän vikaan biisiin. Matt sai lämpimän voittaja-valaistuksen ja isommat kultaiset pyroefektit. Vahinkoa teki myös tapa jolla kisa esitettiin ikään kuin Suomi-UK maaotteluna (Dermotin Helsinki vs Bromley jutut) Joku insiderihan avautui lehtille, että ohjelman taustavoimat olivat kauhuissaan jos Saara voittaisi. Matt oli alusta asti pomminvarma pikaruokatuote, jolla voidaan takoa vähän rahaa kunnes ensi vuonna voidaan taas kruunata uusi geelielvis teinitytöille. Saaralla tietysti valtavasti suurempi potentiaali aitoon tähtiuraan, mutta levy-yhtiöiden näkökulmasta vaikeampi toteuttaa ja suurempi riski kuin Matti.
