liked and subscribed. Very professional and correct about the rotation of fungicides, rule which applies also to insecticides . Best regards from Romania (east europe). Here we do not have mango trees but these basics rules applies to any fruit tree . Not sure about the cutting the top of the tree, i've never heard of this before, maybe because here the climate is different. We have hare anthracnose too on fruit trees or some opther fungal disease but the main problem during the year, here, is the small insects such as aphids, mites, caterpillars, etc. Also indeed, do not use pesticides within 3 weeks before harvesting unless are organic and have to.

Excellent video, very clear and informative. I read a number of related press articles about mango growing in the Kintampo, however none of them reference which varieties of mango are grown. I would be interested if someone could name the varieties generally grown in Kintampo and other regions in Ghana. I wonder if some varieties would offer greater resistance to the disease? I have seen mangos growing in wetter climates in South America without exhibiting ill effects. Have the farmers tried grafts of other varieties with any success i.e. imported scions? Thanks, Vox.

Anybody has any recommendation for effective systemic fungicide for Anthracnose on mango tree?
@Aritul6 жыл бұрын
Jay Das I have read that a copper based fungicide is best. There are risks though as it changes the pH (I think) of the soil.

Till soil. Most disease is due because the astral radiation of the planets is too strong that it affects the plant and it gets sick.
