Joey Belladonna still has pipes after all these years!
@ghoststrike78118 жыл бұрын
Richer, stronger and better actually
@noandno8408 жыл бұрын
Those aren't pipes. Geoff Tate had pipes for days. I will agree, though,his voice hasn't degraded badly. But, he knows his range and what he can and can't do, and he won't pull shit in the studio that he can't reproduce live. He's smart.

Man, this came up in my feed after I just saw Rick Beato covering his opinion on the latest top ten global songs. This blows all 10 of the “top” out of the water by a long shot. So much talent in that room!

Between Iron Maiden’s Book of Souls album and this exact KZbin video, I psyched myself up to start seriously practicing singing in 2016. Now, going on 4 years later, I’m in my college choir and practicing opera music. The big step would be getting my own band started. :)

I hate acoustic versions of metal songs, but damn anthrax wrote a perfect song with this, when I put the CD in my stereo it instantly became one of my all time favourite metal songs of all time, and it's actually pretty damn good even unplugged.

Joe Peters If you look around, you'll find that Joey was restricted by Scott. He admits he used to be a huge control freak and never really let Joey do his own thing, which might be why his first tenure had him sound a bit meh

Jake 3752 oh I know....and I've met Scott twice and he was an asshole both times...I don't mean to rip on Joey at all....seems like a great guy...I just prefer John....and as I said...Joey has really stepped it up on the last 2 albums...they are great. Cheers man!
@ghoststrike78116 жыл бұрын
That was when Joey 1st joined the band as their new singer. However, on their successive albums, joey does his own thing. Its why the hooks/choruses are more catchy (as compared to the Bush-era) and why the big vocals being a more dominant part of their sound on their most recent albums w/ Joey.
