The dresser is gorgeous! I like it better than the overpriced dresser. I have a sugar addiction as well, and I’m about your age. I have tried everything, including medication to stop. Your talk inspires and scares me. Did you stop sugar and start the diet? Or did you continue while on the diet and the cravings lessened? I am over weight by 40 lbs and my brain fog is so bad I was tested for Alzheimer’s. I need help.
@DebisDesignDiary5 жыл бұрын
I had tried to cut back on sugar first and keep my bread intake low, did this on my own for about 6 months, it didnt help much but I think it did make the transition to keto less intense. switching to Keto can be a huge change depending on how much sugar you are eating now and what you blood sugar levels are. I carried oranges and tangerines with me the first few weeks like a security blanket because sometimes it was just too much too fast. After the first 2 weeks it was not so dramatic and after 4-6 I saw very significant improvements ( some improvements were immediate like hunger level) the longer you go the easier it gets. With all other things I've tried, the longer I went the harder it got. I would try watching some of the youtube channels here they are packed with great info. search Dr Berg, Keto Connect, Dr Ken Berry and Suzanne Ryan. There are many more and endless success stories. Just read some of the comments here and you will be encouraged too. Keto helps with brain fog, there are studies that say Alzheimers is the diabetes of the brain and directly linked to sugar and carbs. I hope you consider it Jennifer, there is hope! Also some people transition much easier than I did, my sister had no issues but she never was a sugar addict, she is 2 years younger than me and was diagnosed with Cancer right after my mom died, they removed the cancer but polloups kept coming back, after doing Keto she has no more polyps and is cancer free now a year.

Try taking diatomaceous earth to get rig of the overgrowth of candida in the bowel. Fungus is very intelligent and will do anything to survive, it is very attracted to sugar which is an instant food. About 4 years ago I ended up with a fungal infection on my neck, the doctor gave me anti fungal creams which I used for 6 months....nothing worked. Then I discovered diatomaceous earth, I mixed it with water and knocked it back, within a week the infection was nearly gone. I then mixed it with orange juice and 2 days later it was gone completely. About a month ago I decided to use it again because I was having really bad sugar cravings and was putting weight on again, so I decided to do a detox cleanse, the next day I developed what I thought was an insect bite....it wasn't. Once again it was the fungal infection come back but this time above the right ribs where the gallbladder is. I kept taking the DE and again added orange juice...and it cleared up. I believe it was trying to escape the DE so came out in the skin. There was a study conducted by Atsushi Tero of Hokkaido University on a type of fungus which is a slime mould. The study used a maze based on the Tokyo subway system. The mould had to find the food by negotiating through the maze, it took several attempt until it found the optimal path. The amazing thing is that the slime mould redesigned the subway system so it could get to the food in the quickest way, this was published in Science in early 2010. Now if fungi can do this outside the body and on the earth...what can they do inside the body? Their purpose it to survive no matter the cost to the subject and I believe an overgrowth inside the body are probably also a contributing factor in many cancers.I am leaving a link for you to see about DE kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3XVh4x4dtlofqs

I'm 55 and am going on Ketovore with mostly meat, eggs, healthy fats, a few veggies ( mostly Brussels Sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Asparagus, Spaghetti Squash, cabbage, sauerkraut, green beans..... occasionally) and (berries, and pink grapefruit, on occasion. With whip topping.) Bacon and chicken and red meat, and Fish/Salmon, ect......with two meals, extended fast from dinner to lunch....no breakfast. Mostly Water, some plain Tea and Black Coffee. (At least for awhile. Still need that Caffeine. 🤷😊 And lemon and lime, and ACV. ) Basically trying to eliminate Carbs- bread, pasta, potatoes, junk food, fast food, sweets, my "crack Coffee" (caramel Macchiato Starbucks coffee) I only get those a few times a week. Maybe 4-6 per month. Need to cut that out Completely! I have issues from head to toe, inside out it seems..... arthritis and brain fog and energy plus itching and dry skin/ lips, sinus issues, eye problems, mood issues, ect.....lol I hear from so many people on KZbin about how they feel and how much weight they lost.....but being healthy is most important! All the other things that will most likely happen are a bonus side effect! 😊👍

Debi, I think that you can talk about your diet. You said that you wanted to change your diet due to your brain fog, and depression. I don't think that you ever mentioned that you wanted to tell anyone to change their ways due to weight. You simply went with what you firmly believe and your own experience. I am beginning to fully believe, and not just because of your video, in regards to depression, which I have, and sugar, that so much of this is so true. I don't know which diet is true, but I will see who to cut it out for myself, as I truly need to do something. Thank you for being an inspiration for many who suffer from depression and brain fog. That is what I took from your video and other videos. You do for you, and we should try to do for ourselves. In regards to your dresser, it's absolutely amazing and beautiful. Great Job. I want to get over my slump and get some of my DIY's, crafts, and garden back to being a thing I once enjoyed. God Bless Debi.

It looks fantastic and does closely resemble the anthropologie dresser. Enjoyed the tutorial on the design process for this piece. Keto on! My husband & I started Keto at the beginning of the year. He was no longer insurable because of his weight and I was a year into menopause and had gained 40 lbs in that one year with doctors telling me that was normal and to get used to the extra weight. It has not been an easy transition but now, 4 months in we are finding our rythm and enjoying weight loss, less brain fog, more energy, it's been a great way of life for us so far.
