"Excuse the mess" 😄. These are stunning plants - the veining is just mesmerizing! Maybe i won't be so scared of them now, i also assumed they were way more high maintenance. Always find these individual plant tip videos helpful - thank you!

This video was so helpful and thorough! I’ve just ordered my A. clarinervium after a bit of research, but this video was the best to lay out the bits and bobs in finer detail. I’ve happily subscribed, especially after seeing your adorable shirt! My ferrets have been the cause of mild-to-moderate plant destruction, but everyone has pulled through. 😅

Very useful video. Thanks Claire. Just taken the plunge and bought my first Clarinervium for what I think was a decent price for the size of the plant. The leaves are stunning and I’m looking forward to some new growth in the future.

Hi Claire, recently found your channel and am loving the content, it is just what I need!! Particularly loved the videos on Pink Princess, pests and this one. I thought I had lost my Clarinervium and was truly gutted as it was one of my favourites and then I moved it to a brighter position and now I'm pleased to say it is romping away. Truly a tough cookie. And a beautiful one!! Have you done any videos on the Alocasia Cuprea Red Secret? If not, can you do one please?

Great information. I bought an anthurium crystalinum which arrived yesterday. It’s a seedling, but it has a well established inflorescence. It’s my only anthurium so I won’t be pollinating. Can I cut off the inflorescence?

Been keeping mine in the greenhouse bottom shelf indirect light. 2nd time having a yellow leaf on my Clarinervium. Any ideas what the yellow can be from. Soil stays pretty moist in the greenhouse. Use a moisturize meter water about a 2.

Hi Claire, love your channel. I have several Clarinervium, I’m not sure if they are happy or not. Any tips on how I can get their faces to look straight ahead instead of at the ceiling please? Yours look do fabulous!

If you keep your plant just back from a fairly bright window facing the same way, it should eventually start to turn it's leaves to face the direction of the light 💚
@Judeofthejungle
@Judeofthejungle 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. They were on the floor, turning their faces up to the growlights (no window space available) but I've moved them to a highish shelf now and they've turned toward the light and are so much happier now and just beautiful. I am really looking forward to seeing your new set up when you move. Good luck with it all.

Hello from Germany! Will these tips work with any antherium? I just got a baby silver blush wich I put back into a prop box for now. About 90-98% humidity and about 30 degrees Celsius... I already got a leave but it seems smaller than the other ones. I love your videos! Thank you!
@TheJungleHaven
@TheJungleHaven 2 жыл бұрын
It's fairly similar for silver blush, but I usually give mine a bit of extra humidity as I've found it isn't as tolerant of certain things in the same way as the Clarinervium. I've also never had it in lower light and it gets consistently bright indirect 💚

Hi Claire 😊 Donnamae from Trinidad W. I.. Question about rubbing alcohol to clean plants. Can it be used on all varieties or specific plants? Using it for what in particular? Dosage mixture? I say ☺️ I may not have as many as you 😉 but I have quite a lot and also have a small nursery! Anything to keep on top of pest. 🙏💞🇹🇹
@TheJungleHaven
@TheJungleHaven 2 жыл бұрын
I made a video about pest treatments recently where I go through how I use rubbing alcohol. Always dilute it slightly and don't use it when you don't absolutely have to as it can be very harsh on the leaves, but yes I use it on all plants when necessary 💚

I have a clarinervium that I chopped in two and now have a clone of it in the same pot. I'm wondering if I can pollinate each other or if this will be like inbreeding and won't happen. Are they two separate plants now or is having the same genes making them unfit to pollinate each other?

Question - did you notice any watering issues that showed up on the leaves when that clarinervium was in the lower light setting?

No, but air flow in home environments is much less than in the wild, and therefore can lead to fungal issues 💚
