Thank you for the video on the Pink Flamingo Lily Air Purifying Houseplant (Anthurium). I was searching all over trying to find information on how to grow this plant. Your video was quite informative. My Anthurium is doing very well. I have lots of flowers. I've had her for a a couple of years. I found, as you stated, you just have to pay attention to see what works for this plant and what doesn't! Mine was not flowering. I repotted her into a Lechuza self watering pot and moved her to a brighter sunlit area. Now she's flowering so beautifully! I do get the browning of the tips so I will consider moving her to another location. This plant makes you feel like a champion because it isn't very difficult to maintain! I've only used Miracle Gro - 20-20-20 to feed her. I will look into purchasing the organic fertilizer as you recommended. This could also be contributing to the brown tips. Thank you.

I have a Flamingo Plant and I read that they like distilled water because they do not do well with too much mineral in their water. I have not had mine for a long time (less than a year) but it has 3 flowers and is growing happy. I also mist and have a humidifier on most days.

Very nice video, thanks alot. I am having problems with my plants as they have many leaves and hardly flowers. I guess you are right, although they are in the nursery but insufficient light. There are some trees near by. Secondly, could you please advise me about the organic fert and the other fert which you use. I do live in a tropical country, so not a problem. But I want my plants to flower and not only leaves. I use sand, rice husk, coconut husk and compost for potting. And please make more videos...you are so charming 👍👌😍

Hi! Thank you for the info! I have pink mini antherium plant, I'm knew to this beauty. My question is, do you suggest a plastic pot with drainage holes, or can I use a pot with no drainage holes but put rocks at bottom with the required potting mix?

Hi 💚 in my experience, both work well.. but I recommend drainage holes to beginners, since we are learning the amount of water that is best for them, and if we pour too much it can still cause root rot with the rocks

I have a black anthurium, and since buying it, it has lost its flowers, and many leaves. It’s still very much alive. Just not as lush as when I got it. I have it next to my humidifier, and under a grow light. So I don’t see why I’d be loosing leaves :/. Any tips?

What's the difference between Fertilizer and Plant Food? I know to only "fertilize" during the growing season, but I have heard so much about LiquidDirt (which is a plant food). Wanted to get yours and your communities thoughts.

Hmm I don’t usually use the term “plant food” so I could not tell you. However, I know fertilizer is more like a multivitamin for our plants and a booster for the soil (as it tends to lose its nutrients over time if we have it in a pot).
