@@gottmttunsk3502 I’ve been training parkour since I was 15 just after jump London aired. When I started it was very badly practiced and a lot of what we did was just big drops and poorly executed rolls. The damage I’ve taken is purely down to the way I trained, so yes if I’d trained smarted and conditioned properly I’d still be in a great shape but unfortunately I didn’t so I now teach and try to encourage smart training in others so they can have a long career in the sport.

@@kliersheed yes I'm familiar with the mechanism. but deteriorating after 30, as if that is the a universal cut-off, is not a certainty. many football players remain at their peak for much longer now compared to before ( with developments in sport science). also, those are athletes near the top of human performance, and the wear and tear of their career starts to add up.

@@danielestrada3390 I mean that's just a safety issue in general. You are always supposed to test your surfaces. I recently went to vault over a fence at a motel an I wiped out because turns out the bottom posts of that fence had rusted through and it was just sorta propped up there. I didn't get hurt. But that's what happens when you don't check your surfaces. And that ain't my fault tat they allowed their railing to fall into so much disrepair that someone leaning on it pushes it down. I actually might have saved them from a lawsuit. Because if that railing broke on someone who was just leaning against it like railings are for, then that's what would happened.

It's anti-skate and parkour, which homeless guy would go there to sleep since its on a decline and its exposed to the elements like wind, rain..

Yeah it's a bit fucked up to make it seem like the video is all about the spikes and then put that bit last for 3 minutes in a 15 minute video.

This one place I practiced at had enough of me doing park over there. So they put a peanut butter like substance on all of the ledges so I couldn't climb. It was pretty effective.

The idea of "Anti-Parkour Spikes" is really silly, someone just one day thought, "Let's put some spikes so people don't touch this wall".
@DomBounty

It's not actually to prevent skating or parkour, it's actually worse... the government put these in place to prevent homeless people from sitting/lying in these locations... you'll see the same design on park benches. New York city has done this to an extreme level.
@snowified34
@snowified34 2 жыл бұрын
@@DomBounty I think for this wall in particular it was meant for parkour skateboarding etc., as the sign had said that they were not allowed, since this is a good spot for all of the sports listed.
