I was fine till they started squash the new gardens and moving safety barriers so they can create their own personal playground. Part of the challenge in street sports is finding places to do them that doesn't damage property or annoy property owners.

@@gottmttunsk3502 I’ve been training parkour since I was 15 just after jump London aired. When I started it was very badly practiced and a lot of what we did was just big drops and poorly executed rolls. The damage I’ve taken is purely down to the way I trained, so yes if I’d trained smarted and conditioned properly I’d still be in a great shape but unfortunately I didn’t so I now teach and try to encourage smart training in others so they can have a long career in the sport.

@@gottmttunsk3502 +well biologically your body deteriorates after around the age of 30. before that its "building up". mainly because of your Telomeres getting shorter each cell division, independent of training etc. same reason why soccer players retire pretty early. you just no longer at your peak.

@@kliersheed yes I'm familiar with the mechanism. but deteriorating after 30, as if that is the a universal cut-off, is not a certainty. many football players remain at their peak for much longer now compared to before ( with developments in sport science). also, those are athletes near the top of human performance, and the wear and tear of their career starts to add up.

Sounds more like years of practice and dedication. Take break dancers for example they don’t have a “spot” they have the floor and with practice new moves are unlocked. I guess it’s artistic but it’s just basic progression in their confidence of their body and movement.

It blows my mind what some people will do to prevent people from having fun. In my country it's notched handrails to prevent skateboard grinds. In the UK its paint and spikes for parkour. Respect Storror, keep on doing your thing and don't let anybody stop you!

@@danielestrada3390 I mean that's just a safety issue in general. You are always supposed to test your surfaces. I recently went to vault over a fence at a motel an I wiped out because turns out the bottom posts of that fence had rusted through and it was just sorta propped up there. I didn't get hurt. But that's what happens when you don't check your surfaces. And that ain't my fault tat they allowed their railing to fall into so much disrepair that someone leaning on it pushes it down. I actually might have saved them from a lawsuit. Because if that railing broke on someone who was just leaning against it like railings are for, then that's what would happened.

This one place I practiced at had enough of me doing park over there. So they put a peanut butter like substance on all of the ledges so I couldn't climb. It was pretty effective.

It's not actually to prevent skating or parkour, it's actually worse... the government put these in place to prevent homeless people from sitting/lying in these locations... you'll see the same design on park benches. New York city has done this to an extreme level.
