Anticholinergic Side Effects of Antipsychotic Drugs

Antipsychotics drugs have anticholinergic side effects as they block Acetylcholine at the antimuscarinic receptors in the parasympathetic nervous system. The most common side effects are discussed.

And let’s not forget raised blood sugar level, cholesterol level and type two diabetes is practically in the post and of course tardive dyskinesia….all pretty awful side affects which may not all happen to one person , but waking up one day with any would leave me enraged with anybody who had forced them on me..!!!!

Don't forget the risk of dementia that doctors downplay :)
