The feeling of an impending collapse has been weighing on my mind for the past few years. Luckily I've been able to wake some family up and avoid experimental jabs, but it isn't enough. We have to be striving everyday to be saints. We can lose access to the Sacrements in the snap of a finger.. Nothing in this world can take the Holy Rosary away. Cling hard to those beads. I am at a loss as a traditional woman in her seventies. Even my good friends who are faithful believers do not see the urgency of eternal life …..everyone is too busy to really care….and personally I just have to refrain myself….my kids cannot see the importance of any of this. I care for the grands, take care of the elderly as my paying job….and pray, pray, pray people wake up….or maybe I should lament that I am even aware…..God bless you….in the end it is only heaven and hell…..and I’m thinking not the heaven everyone and anyone goes to just by the words of remaining loved ones….

You touch on a very important point, either unknown or overlooked by most American "conservative" Catholics, and no doubt also by so-called "traditionalists" The founders of this country were anti Catholic sectarian Protestants and Deists, many of whom I guess were Freemasons as well. Therefore the country was founded on the shifting sand of private judgement and popular opinion; and there was never religious unity that only adherence and obedience to the divinely established teaching authority of the Catholic Church can give, as was the case with all European countries and also all South American countries; Unfortunately all of these nations have fallen prey to the liberal democratic ideology of the US and its secular humanistic materialism, which believes that material prosperity and wealth are sure signs of God's favor.. Without obedience to Christ the King, reigning in and through his one Holy Catholic Church there is no protection against Satan; and we see the result: Chaos and war unfolding everywhere, most of it provoked by he US, which is disintegrating before our eyes. But it is not only this anti Christitan ideology that is trying to conquer and own the world. it is the culture which it has produced, especially in the realm of music and films: I am speaking of Jazz and Rock and their derivatives - deadly poison for the soul and destroyer of authentic Christian cultures and also the violence of its theatre. In short, it refers to Christ's authority over societies "and the obedience which societies must have to the Will of Jesus Christ, the submission which the civil laws must bring about with regard to the Law of Our Lord Jesus Christ." ~ Archbishop Lefebvre. It refers to the importance of maintaining a Christian civil society for the benefit of the common good and the salvation of souls. The doctrine is set forth in Quas Primas by Pope Pius XI in 1925.

Our Lord came to redeem all of creation; therefore, we can fully expect that among the fortifications that will be brought to heel by Christ are those in this world, and this will take place in some measure through the cooperation of those who willingly take up the mission that He gave to His Church. Nowhere does Jesus suggest that His Kingly authority is such that He has no jurisdiction in this world. The very idea is preposterous. On the contrary; He lets it be known that His kingdom is greater than this world. And lest there be any question as to where the civil authorities of this world stand in relation to Him, He even tells Pilate that the only reason he has any power whatsoever is that it has been given to him “from above.” This is a very clear indication of the duty that is incumbent upon all earthly rulers to honor, and worship and give glory to Him who alone is from above. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” All authority… Where? In Heaven and on Earth. This is a euphemism that means to say everywhere. On this let us be perfectly clear: There is no place, no person or thing that is not subject to the reign and the rule of Christ the King.

An elderly (silent generation) Trappist monk and former Abbot and Bishop told me earnestly that belief in Catholic dogmas such as the Triune God and the Incarnation of Jesus Christ, perfect God and perfect Man, are not necessary for salvation, and anyone of whatever religion can be saved - that salvation is a mystery knowable only to God, and one's faith is a personal choice that doesn't exclude a person from salvation; only "charity/love" matters in the end. The religion of the vast majority of Vatican II putative Catholics including most religious simply amounts to being a vaguely "good/decent" (whatever it even means, most couldn't concretely define these terms) person regardless of religious doctrines like the three Persons of the most Holy Trinity. What it means is these people are universalists and often antinomians, and universalism was very clearly condemned as a heresy by the Church prior to Vatican II.

Pope Gregory XVI wrote an encyclical Mirari Vos-On Liberalism and Religious Indifferentism-which he thoroughly condemned. Yet Vatican II adopted both of these heresies and by doing so is responsible for the loss of the true Catholic faith of millions.

Not so. i would say that the most spiritually dangerous country in the world to grow up in is the USA. Why ? See my post above. The popular culture, music and cinema, which is now practically the only culture in the country, is anti christian on steroids. The clergy have been thoroughly contaminated -with the exception of very few with the condemned heresy of "Americanism", , an radical egalitarianism that inculcates magisterially condemned notion that all religions are more or less good and praiseworthy - the pet heresy of J P II, which was the foundation stone of his whole fake pontificate; (See his "Redemptor Hominis", no. 6). America (USA) was built on the anti Christian idea that we are on earth to "pursue happiness" here; and that government exists to make this possible (the "American dream", which is now swiftly becoming the American nightmare,( thanks be to God!).The culture is aggressively materialistic and secular, despising and even outlawing any expression of the sacred, not only in public, but, as in Protestant services, at the mass that most Catholics attend who have not surrendered completely to the culture, and "thrown in the towel"; There is also the worship of the USA as a god, believed to be the "greatest country in the world", not only in the present, but in all of History, (!) -an immense and soul-killing Hubris which is in the very air we breathe, and is deeply rooted in the subconscious of almost all Americans. So, again: "not so.."

When our daughter was looking at colleges back in 2012, we visited University of Scranton, also a Jesuit school, and had an almost identical experience as the one you had. I was asking the guide if many students went to Mass and she really downplayed it. She couldn't pick up that I was hoping she'd say yes. Needless to say, we didn't send our daughter there.

I am a Creighton University graduate and what I found is that the mass at that cathedral on campuses was really Novus Ordo and lacking depth to such a degree I wondered if they're even Catholic and not some delusional cosplayers. Good thing that wasn't my home parish in Omaha and instead Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox church. I considered becoming Catholic based on my Jesuit education, but reading the church fathers in my theology courses led me to the conclusion the papacy is a medieval invention and the papal claims are basically heresies as well as Protestantism which only leaves Orthodoxy as the legitimate Apostolic faith with Catholicism being close behind but not quite there.

Interesting, I have no doubt the Jesuit university would have super-charged Novus Ordo Protestant Mass, regardless of the building. But the Papacy is not an invention of the Middle Ages. There most certainly was a Pope before the Middle Ages. The Jesuits do not reflect real Roman Catholicism, at all.
