I am honestly loving the cardio pharm. The images, knowing locations, enzymes, etc makes a world of a difference in understanding why it behaves that way and how to use it! Can you please please please help me to understand the possible reasons for very low platelets. Was noted this June yearly blood test. (Monocytes slowly increasing over last 2 years also.) Prednisone course did not help with platelets. Rituxan 4 weeks infusions never raised beyond 89k, since then labs showing platelets steadily going down. Had bone marrow biopsy revealed no abnormal cells. Had miserable side effects from Rituxan , and Promacta is now next drug suggested and I’m affected by the anxiety this is all causing me. I am 78 year old active female . Please lay out your explanation with a video about this problem and the “mechanism of action “ that might help me gain some understanding , and how someone with thrombocytopenia can be helped. You are so amazingly thorough in your videos.
