Antique C-Clamp Vise Restoratin - Vice Restoration Video.
Hello Again To Everyone. In This Project, I Restore British Made C-Clamp. After Cleaning With Water, I Decided To Clean Rust With Rust Remover. Then I Realised That This C-Clamp Is Forged Steel. I'm Grateful That This Is Forged Steel, Because Nearly All Of The C Clamps Manufactured Today Are Cast Iron. Cast Iron Is Easy To Work With, But It's Dangerous To Work With , It Is Unsafe. When The Shaft Hole Size In The Body Was 7/16(Whitworth), I Enlarged It And Repaıred It With M12(Iso). The Working Handle Of This Product Was Shaking Because It Has Been Used For Very Long Time And Was Broken. Also It Was Short Than Normal. For That, I Left The Handle, The Iconic Part Of This Arm, With It’s Original, And I Made The Shaft Again And Gathered It Together. The Cylinder Part At The End Of The Shaft Was Fixed By Hammer. I Made Thıs Stabilization By Using A Cut Ring Instead Of Hammering. After Leveling The Differences In The Inside Of The Cylinder, I Blacked With Cold Bluing. But I Let The Outer Keep Bright. Fınally, After I Decided To Paintıng The Product Black, I Decided To Make A Meine Mechaniker Label In Brass, Due To The There Was No Logo Or Writing On The Product. I Made This Label Wıth A Small And Laser To Be Aesthetic. Brass Label Copper Rivet Was A Great Combination. I Hope You Like It. If You Liked It, I Can't Wait To See Your Likes And Comments. See You At The Next Project. Stay Healthy.
