I don’t know why, but I am so drawn...enamored...with the really big pieces of stitching. Fascinating that such effort was out into everyday functional things like bedspreads, bed curtains, etc.

Such a large piece, but nothing in comparison to the bed drapes and curtains. I can’t imagine working on such large projects! Lovely. A true community project for you and your friends. Reminds me of the quilting bees I used to go to as a young woman.
