The lovely clip wasn't for a shoe. It was really a scarf clip, although could also be used clipped on to collars or pockets eg breast pocket on a jacket. It could also be used with a chain as a pendant.

What a wonderfully fun day with your sister and friends! I simply think it's a tie including each of you, because you have all chosen something you will cherish and remind you of the special day together. There was so much to choose from I would need a cart to take home all I would buy LOL. Side note - please don't take the silk embroidery from the frame because it will be very delicate and old silk literally disintegrates when touched.

Hello from Canada. I vote #4 for absolutely beautiful oriental embroidery. I have a small collection of them. Please, live it as it is. It is so gorgeous to reuse it for something else. Plus that silk is very fragile and stain sustainable. And it can not take direct sun lite. The condition is pretty good. Thank you.
