Antique Store EXIT sign restoration and electrification

I picked up this neat old lighted EXIT sign at the Midland Antique Store in Indianapolis, IN. It had Mickey Mouse battery powered LED lights in it that didn't work, so I cleaned, painted and electrified the sign. I hung it over the rear door in my garage.

I love your EXIT sign! You know I always remember the lettering being red on exit signs. I'm wondering if that is a Canadian thing. And of course your welcome for the sign. I see it's in a more permanent place now. It's great to see it hanging in your garage because it used to hang in my garage! I ended up with two and I switched them up. I figured it would look great in your garage and it does! Keep those videos comin'!

A lot are red here in the USA also, but our local City Hall and rec. center have green exit signs. I see green ones now and then. Yep I finally rearranged some of my garage wall art. I took the Bel Air out for a nice road trip today, doing a couple hundred miles for a photo shoot at an amazing mid century modern home.... video maybe Thursday evening, got a lot of editing to do. My friend Dave ended up taking his 59 Cadillac also. Got some amazing photos. He is still looking for a 59 car for a photo shoot in Midland, Mi., if you're interested. I just don't want to drive that far, unless it's an overnight stay, plus my Bel Air has already been used for this book, so a different one would be nice.
