My mom took me to antique store when I was a kid. Found old buildings too went in lookin. Old grist mill, had the whole west wall beehive. Honey dripping out. Went in to old office. She got picture frame.

Dude 20 years ago when the internet was in it's infancy . Many Central phone offices and switch site started modernizing. In my defense I was not a Collector then, but I've thrown many of great old telecom item into dumpsters. In south solon Ohio they had a p.o.p. site that was old and it was full of western electric equipment and signage ....it all got thrown away. All of it !!! I wish this version of of my self was there then . I would have filled a truck load of good Junk 😀. I like the Bell telephone sign obviously !!!! It's raining here again Bro, and I'm sick of it . Thanks for taking us along .

Wow man your Mom n Dads home is Awesome !! Cudos to them for keeping the history and saving all of those beautiful items that most of the world has no care for. I hope unlike my family it doesn’t get sold off at an estate sale. My grandparents both passed in the last couple years and the family saw dollar signs not caring about anything else. They had stuff just like that. I wanted to set it in the historical register and leave it for all to enjoy for generations. I lost that battle. Unfortunately. Peace ✌️

Very impressive painting detail on the ceiling and walls, as well as the fireplace, it felt like going back 100 years in time.. Was hoping to see the squirrelman.. Seen a video this morning of a guy going out to his domesticated squirrel friend, as he climbs all over him, and then hops off his back onto a tree, so awesome..
