some of that stuff I never saw before I have one of those hot patch clamps. but they got away from that in favor of the glue type if the tube was clean and scratched up the hot patch was better in my opinion.

Cool old tools! That second item looks a lot like a stake sharpener my Dad had. He would cut stakes on the sawmill and use one of those like a big pencil sharpener to put the points on them. He bundled them and sold them to surveyors and others.

That plane you got my dad uses them for furniture building especially top deck stuff....hard work to use one. But they work really well, I think they run about 100+years

@@GearHeadzGarageUSA yeah i know what you mean i dont do a lot of woodwork but when i do idont use that plane i just use sand paper power sanders and sanding blocks
