I have watched countless camper build videos camper tours from every company and I’ve built my own but I have to say I think this is the best One I’ve ever seen they have a literally thought of everything including the ability to stand up inside without it being pop up which requires a lot of set up time and is not well insulated well done consider me jealous. But of course I wish It was a bit more affordable

This is by far the best rig I have found online. I was just looking for a cookie cutter toy healer to haul my 3 ATV's but after much research due to the size of my ATV's it appears I will be looking to convert a cargo trailer into a toy hauler. I love the fact that your unit is lifted, the swivel hitch is removable, tie down tracks on the outside, access to the v nose box, timbren axles, one sheet metal, the quick set up and more. Do you make one in a 26 footer tandem axle? I think the answer is no but I'm going to ask anyway. I have learned a lot from this video. Thank you.

The AntiShanty has a very well-thought-out utilitarian design that seems geared more toward adventurists. I'm not sure that my wife and young kids would like it. Perhaps, offer some internal trim options, such as a wet-bath and a skylight that take advantage of the AntiShanty's modular design. Overall, great job!

I really love this design and idea I think it’s super sweet and really useable without all the extra bells and whistles that would take away from it’s usability. I know it’s well made and very high quality but I can’t see y’all selling as many as you’d want to at the price point it’s at because a lot of people would just buy a cargo box trailer and use it the same way. I know there’s upsides to your design but man if you could get a barebones model, just the frame basically with no heat or gas or anything I think you’d sell lots of those

Everything I’ve heard says the diesel cooktops are miserably slow. How about an induction cooktop. I know, power hog, but immediate hot and cool.... Also, how water proof/rain proof are all the numerous fold joints and Velcro securing of flaps? Not everyone stays in the desert SW.
@ANTISHANTY
@ANTISHANTY 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Cliff, the diesel does take a moment to heat up. Trusty camp stoves work great on the countertop for a quick boil/cup of joe. Induction works great but the tradeoff is the heavy current draw. The joints are all sealed with automotive-grade gaskets. When the weather is really bad you can deploy our extreme weather fly.

when you take it off road any one have an issue with it being so tall? I always wonder that I like that it has the ability to be a base camp that brings every thing at the same time it can make it to the place you want to take it. Again my only issue is height. I am always worried about being taller then my truck. Edit well after i posted this i seen that you have a newer video out and noticed they are the same height as a Toyota land cruzer. so thats awesome that is perfect sized.

Hey Riding The Wave! Thanks for your feedback. We typically throw pelican cases, propane tanks, or toolboxes/bags inside and adding any permanently dedicated storage eliminates some of the flex-ability. We are developing quick attach paneling in a few locations. The tongue box could be another great spot to add it to. More to come!
@missmymountain
@missmymountain 3 жыл бұрын
I wish you all the best. Some great ideas and superb craftsmanship. The rest of my comment will sound harsh but please view it as constructive criticism. I love when people innovate and want to see them succeed. You are needlessly limiting your market share to a very few small group. I can't imagine sitting my hind end down on bare aluminum, resting my arms on bare aluminum, dragging my plate across bare aluminum, etc., hooking my elbow on one of those corners after a day of slinging that XR650 around in the sand or mud. I'd want some level of comfort. Rounding corners, integrating softer more durable surfaces like wood or UHMW, and providing allowances to more practically store "stuff" like that iron skillet, the drinking cups, cutlery, etc. would go a long way to adding creature comforts and practicality. Oxidized bare aluminum will ruin anything rubbing against it. It's a great base but needs a surface treatment. Open up an aluminum truck toolbox a year after it's been carrying anything and you'll quickly see what I'm talking about. Though great when new, customers won't like that long term. The need to continuously re-arrange the interior to go from daytime to night time to travel configurations would get very annoying very quickly. A Swiss Army knife is perfect in a pinch but it's not my go to tool when others are available. If your camper was my only choice to get in out of storm I'd love it. If there was another camper next to it with more traditional materials, I'd head into it. Arranging the bed to completely limit movement is an easy out but will also quickly become a novelty when a customer uses this for more than a day. The modular hitch design is great for extreme offroad but people aren't going to need it. A simpler hitch with better sway control would be more practical for 99.8% of customers.
@ANTISHANTY
@ANTISHANTY 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Missmymountain! Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you know what you are looking for. We in fact quite like the modular design and our choice of materials provides long-wearing, practical, lightweight, and simple use in the field. We have hauled firewood, moved couches, and transported motos all with the same unit. We also offer a Base (shell) option for folks to deck out with custom options for their specific use applications. Happy Trails!

Just wondering how you vent the A/C unit and does the extreme weather insert come with the pro. I live in Fl. and A/C is a must I was also wondering if there is a way to have a bed, a full size motorcycle and sleep stealth (no roof up) ?
@ANTISHANTY
@ANTISHANTY 4 жыл бұрын
Hey P Mick! Great questions. We vent the A/C through the floor beneath the stove. The extreme weather inserts come as an available option on the Pro. In a FL summer, you would likely need them. There is no way to sleep with a full-size moto and the queen size bed setup in tow mode. You could potentially roll a sleeping pad down on either side of the bike or in front of it in the kitchen area. Feel free to shoot us an email for more details - info@antishanty.com - All the best

@@ANTISHANTY, OK, that's interesting, but if the weather fly is even an option, it makes me wonder if it is water tight enough for use without the fly. @ANTISHANTY

It is designed to be water-tight enough to use without the Fly. The fly is an added benefit that can add an extra layer of insulation, keep the roof free and clear of snow/ice for when you are ready to collapse the A-frame, and add an extra layer of protection in extremely high wind rainstorm situations.

Howdy! Update - Since starting this discussion on the R Value of the triangle and walls, the wording in the comment above is somewhat unclear and potentially misleading. We have had a couple of customers ask, and decided it was worth noting with the explanation below. The R Value in the triangle closure does not feature any added polyiso insulation, however, it still retains R- Value. It is composed of two aluminum skins and a layer of coroplast. The rough value is R 1.5 and when paired with the extreme weather insulation kit it brings it up to R5. Please feel free to reach out to us today through our website or give us a call for more details.
