Love seeing this! What a beauty! Really looking forward to it! As a quick note, you should only be taking the bonus tiles when you completely cover all tile spaces of a single color (ie: all blue spaces covered by boats, not just a single contiguous section of blues). Hopefully that makes sense.

Animals don’t need to be touching to score all of the same type, they just need to be in the same pasture. So at 1:11:00 you didn’t need to spend a worker to change the 6 to a 1.

The "original" boards you show are not the original boards; they are the 2019 reprint. They are still a step up though from the first 2011 printing.

Love all this, just sucks the acrylic upgrade they have Doenst have the writing on the back. Seems weird to have an upgrade that’s less than the cardboard lol. But I still love this game. Those dice seem really hard to read though.

Hi guys. I love your playthroughs, but I have to admit that this one was a bit frustrating. I think you went a bit too fast and made a few too many mistakes. In addition to the bonus tiles not played correctly and the depot tiles not being discarded properly, I believe that the vineyard bonus actions were also incorrectly played. Unless I am mistaken, you get to take a tile from the main board to your reserve and not from your reserve to your duchy board (as you played). With that said, I still love your channel and can't wait to see what comes up next. Thank you for all the efforts! 😊

1) Do you find the new dice readible? From the viewer's point of view they are extremely hard to read. 2) Do the highest castle minis obstruct the view when you play with them? They look great, but do they get in the way of playing?

The dice took a little getting used to but not too hard to read. The castles don’t block anything.

At 28:48 , after finishing one block of three boats, you took the bonus reward for blue. That was incorrect - you only get the bonus reward for completing ALL of a color in your duchy. Completing a blue block/section DOES give you VP for the size of the block and whatever game phase you’re in, but not the bonus reward unless i it completely finishes blue for your duchy, which in this case it didn’t.

Yep we messed this up. We plan to do another playthrough with the published version of the game in the future.

The version you compared to at the end was the Anniversary edition (or 2019 edition), not the ubiquitous original version. Many of us did not like that edition, I know I had no desire to "upgrade to it. The original was not ideal, but the Anniversary edition felt like a step backwards. This new version looks great, and I've pledged for it. (Though hopefully they will drop the excessive decoration on the dice).

You are playing the area bonuses wrong: you only get the bonus foe completing ALL tiles of the same color, not just the area of the same color (if another area of that color still is open).

For the same reasons you shared, I upgraded my retail version of Radlands to the Super Deluxe version. I only bought the retail at $20 to play and figure out if I liked it. And I loved it. Having the deluxe helps me love it more.

A great gateway game. After playing some more complex games like GWT, Terraforming Mars, Dune + Expansions, Burgundy can be a bit dry.

These spots in the vineyard do they let you take goods from the board or sell the goods in your board? Would be interesting if so, because in the main game + expansions only way to get goods is by placing ships

There's some weird audio thing thing on in this video where there's a faint echo track playing under the primary audio that's a second earlier. I had to pause the video to try and see where the other voices I was hearing came from but then I recognized identical words repeated 😜

Yes we had a separate device picking up audio in our software that has since been corrected. Was very weird.

Are the 3D tiles from the terrain box stored in the main box or separately? I’m concerned that’s if they are stored elsewhere, they will end up not being used. Thanks in adfance

1:34:50 Just befor, you are changing your dice from 3 to 5 you changed it from 1 to 3 and payed 2 workers, but in the next moment you forget to pay another 2 workers which you will use in you final move. This not, what I call, a lame finishing move 1:37:50 😆 id diddnt make much difference at the end and it was a great introduction to the game. I'm glad I went all in. 😅

I don't know which is more amazing: how much money KS and other sourcing make off Feld fans or how much money Feld fans give to all these companies. Free will I guess but borders on taking advantage it seems like in my opinion. I paid $5 for a dozen eggs, not buying games I already own.

When you take goods from a depot and you can only fit some of them, you discard rhe rest. Not rhe best playthrough!
