So cool seeing you Tony! The last time I saw you we were talking in front of your house in Costa Mesa in 84-85 had a good conversation. You were wearing a beret. then I took off on my bike and haven't seen you or known anything about you until a few days ago. I'm not surprised that you've been in this direction the whole time! Cheers! Jason

No band in history has released as many great songs without being in the public consciousness
@monsirto2 жыл бұрын
Too many bands have done exactly that. Anton is basically a rehash of the Sydney indie scene circa 1994. A poor man's Ed Keupper.

Lol I love his honesty “I hope Joel is rested and ready to play, he’s better at tambourine than Shea” 😂 I think Shea ended up taking over for Joel at some point recently cause he had a family issue and had to leave the tour.

It's so funny for me to hear Anton reflecting on SF and having my own sort of thing in my life having left Ohio to come here 7 years ago. I had the idea that I was gonna be doing my own art/music and I'm only just starting to get my focus where I wanted to get to and this interview made me feel like that fire inside my soul is kicking up for the first time in a long time now.... Thanks for the upload and thanks again to Anton on the off chance that you read this.

Thank Antón ,sorry i’m not speak inglés. 🤙🏼

@davidphelps2121 Жыл бұрын
I don't think he looks tired, he looks well adjusted and seems to have found his true self. I like that he doesn't just give a canned reply to this gorgeous host, without a pause and gathering of his thoughts. Anton has become a Musical Sage, still opinionated as f$%^ and I tend to agree with his view of the music business. It's a cesspool of money grubbing self serving autocrats. Thanks Anton and the BJM. PS: Miss Levinson you are dreamy! I stay in the south bay area silicon valley.

one thing out of many that i love about antons music, is that he always talked about "jesus" . i was younger, now the heroin stuff could of helped gotten me killed but it didnt. shit heroin doesnt even exist anymore its the "fentanyl" fuuck that shit. also he really inspired me to not only be a musician but make my own DIY. i was a baby anton copy cat for a while. now i make music and im getting pretty good. but yeah it was really cool just seeing u go out there and do it, thats what i do now. i havent played in bars or anything like that yet.
