Why should any blk man commit (and especially get married) when the stats SHOW they will loose big time... Women'are encouraged to take full advantage of men BY the court system, By the medias, the Democratic Party and the corporate world, not to mention the school system ... Meaning that's to much to fight for a man.... Marriage rates are plummeting, can women at least acknowledge this?!?!? Oh did I forget that worldly reputation blk women about the attitude have built....

The problem I’ve had with dating wasn’t putting myself out there the problem was when I meet a woman they all did the same pattern. Starting off everything is going good and then next thing you know one day they switch up have a bad attitude or just don’t text back or wanna get on the phone. Then when I fall back they sit up there and blame me when it’s their fault. Had this happen to me yesterday. These women today don’t believe in putting in effort they think the men are supposed to do everything and they don’t have to do nothing. Then get random attitudes out of nowhere and expect you to sit there and deal with that. Now I’m at the point I don’t care about dating and marriage anymore. I love my single boring peaceful life. Especially with GOD there with me. So it is what it is.

Giving your self to 10 different dudes then when you get to the 11th guy he gotta jump thru all these hoops to get a chick that can’t even give you all of her because a piece of her is gone with every previous dude shes been with. So you end up with a used Honda with over 150000 and the owner selling it for $30000 and looking at you like she giving you a discount 😂. Clown world. No to even mention that majority of them bring another man kid/kids to the table and want you to jump thru more to get her than the man that she let “shoot up the club”. Just a bad deal all around.

I knew exactly what I found and didn’t hesitate to lock it in. Creeping up on 30 years later we’re empty nesters and out here trucking together through the week and playing with our grandson on the weekends. I knew I found a good woman and legitimate wife material. The fact that we also turned best friends was just icing on the cake. From less than $10,000 a year to start to building a million dollar house just outside Nashville. She still wears her Walmart gold ban and still refuses to take it off or upgrade it. Our daughter was also 1 week old the day my wife graduated from high school.

For most females, the guy that could have been their life partner slipped out of their hands for whatever reasons. How many men can relate to being ghosted by a female they liked, only to hear from them years later after going through drama by a man she got pregnant by?

10:20 a healthy amount of skepticism is usually good. But it has to be the right skepticism. If you meet a guy and by default deem that he's a cheater like what Ms Arii described upon meeting her husband then that is blind pessimism. It's not skepticism driven by acute observations of interacting with the person in a meaningful way i.e. asking hard questions to determine compatibility, assessing his competence, assessing his work ethic etc. Instead, like Anton said they'll project past negative experiences to feed their confirmation bias. A broken clock is right twice a day, and your pessimism may have actually helped you at times so you think it's an effective strategy. However, it's also hurting you because you're passing on potential mates you have high compatibility with. I also believe this mentality dulls your analytical skills and critical thinking because you're not properly engaging your intellect to identify the subtleties of person's behavior and character. Alternatively some women go completely against their type in an attempt try something different but if they're STILL not using their critical thinking skills to identify the subtleties in behavior or asking the hard questions to determine his character and values they still may end up disappointed. A lot of women don't think they have to do any work in the mating dance. The man they want should just show up, be what she wants him to be and that's it. She doesn't want to approach, initiate a conversation, think, analyze, criticize, compromise, assess the tradeoffs etc. This is the 21st century you're all sovereign women with agency in the most zecksually liberated era, you have to be more proactive to get what you want.

IslandGya said the key words, we (but I’m meaning everyone not just women) need to take ACCOUNTABILITY. Once that happens on a regular and be honest with ourself healing can really come and we can grow and move together. Until social media/ unrealistic expectations with nothing being reciprocated, and unwillingness to cooperate together with understanding will be the fate.

People are overthinking it. It's about maturity. You can physically be a grown man or woman. But still have the mind of a 15 year old. Let the world tell everybody is a good man and a good woman. So how do you separate who's who. Maturity. Is this man or woman mentally mature enough to to merge with another person's personality and coexist in one body as one. People enter relationships with vague intentions. So you're not in it for the person you're in it for what they can offer.
