Nothing burns me up more than a woman that doesn't understand that her life as it was is over once she decides to have a baby. My mom was 18 when she had me, so I understand that she was still a child and still learning. I'm in my 40s now constantly telling her how she failed as a mother. She opted to date/have boyfriends and hang out with friends rather than spend time with me. She left me with whoever would keep me while she lived her life. I remember one time trying to tell her about it when her one friend was around. This friend had 3 kids (two different dads) and all 3 of them were living with their dads in other states. This friend was ALWAYS in the streets and still is to this day at 62. Friend actually said "Your mom needs a life too" when I said my mom was never around. Only now all these years later does my mom finally realize that we have no relationship. It kills me to see pregnant women asking when should they start dating again and others commenting saying it's never too soon to start dating because everyone deserves to have someone.

Bottom line, do not date women with kids, Do not smash women with kids, Do not befriend women with kids, etc. If you do not have kids, protect your seed. If you have kids take care of your kids. If you are on child support get a un/secured credit card for that particular limit and give it to the baby mother so you can track the spending and if there are any discrepancies you have receipts you can take to court showing what she is spending money on.

I never knew my father. I heard from my family that my mother was engaged, but it was broken off because he was putting her in too much financial burden. I was told by my uncle at a young age that he saw him at a party and asked my father when he would see me(I was an infant at the time) and was he said he was. Even my mother waited for him at my grandmother's house to see me. But he never came. That was 30 years ago. So, this there is an except to the norm. I can say I don't sympathetize these modern single mothers. Because most single mothers from the time didn't want to be one, but they carried on with their lives.
