Playing stepdad is for those who are suckers, subpar, and not the pick of the litter. No valuable man is going to choose to be in a relationship with a woman that already has children. No man of value is going to advocate for other men to play the father role for a family that is not theirs. Having a child out of wedlock, having a child at a young age, and not being with the man that you chose to have a child with are all signs of bad judgement. It's just like the criminal analogy that Anton used. If you made a mistake at a young age, it doesn't matter that you were young. Your mistakes follow you everywhere and certain mistakes automatically disqualify you from putting yourself in certain positions. In the case of a felony your mistake disqualifies you from certain employment opportunities. In the case of having a child young or out of wedlock it disqualifies you from a certain standard of men.
