Technically it should be "I don't trasnochar" because the sentence already has the verb 'do' (in the form 'don't'), which needs to be followed by infinitive. Buttt in Spanish they don't use 'do' to make negative sentences, so por eso le salió "trasnocho"

@Dachdogoriginal

@@kiaraeijo not everyone generalizes latinos as Mexicans. Some do. But language, like Spanish is very different even within a latin country depending on the region. My spiritual kids are Mexican. But I live in south America. They correct my Spanish. But the funny thing is, I speak like the country I live in. Language is also changing rapidly over time. Even in English I hear kids say things that means something entirely different then when I used it as a child.

Dachdog But a lot of people in the south do. I’ve been living in Tennessee for about a year and a half and I’ve had mixed reactions whenever I speak Spanish. He only became fluent in the English language in the 1990's. In the early 90's Hollywood movies (Philadelphia with Tom Hanks was one of them), he didn't speak much and that was the reason why.
