As a Cowboys fan I loved these two as individuals and I appreciate that they valued their self worth. Wouldn't let an organization behind the scenes shenanigans and peer pressure through the media make them fold to the organization during contract negotiations. Then the player gets nicknames such as megatron and beast mode, mean Joe or the bus. The uniform is seen before the player. Players are identified as numbers.
