Charles Burney mentioned Vandini in " Dr. Burney's Musical Tours in Europe" when he was in Padua. Apparently, he was a very famous and highly praised violoncellist. This is a very pleasant piece of music. 😘

I was in Padova recently and visited obviously the church dedicated to S.Antonio. It's strange that no church music written by Vandini survived. but did he compose church or coral music? Or he dedicated himself only to instrumental composition?
