1. The first question frames covax contribution as some kind of competition that america should be winning against china and russia. Bizarre. 2. India brought forward and allowed mass religious festivals to go ahead. Travel in or out of the country should be completely blocked, administrators put on trial and sanctioned. 3. Total garbage about US upholding international rules based systems. US overtly undermines the UN and invades the Middle East, waffles about human rights while selling fighter jets to Saudi Arabia and being silent on Yemen. Unilaterally pulls out of weapons treaties. Etc. The US erodes global institutions to replace them with their own. 4. He is absolutely right about investing in themselves. The US has lost the tech battle with China because for the last 2 decades companies have just invested in stock buybacks rather than primary research. Hence Huawei not Cisco. 5. He says he put new rules in place about protecting people who speak out, while Assange languishes in purgatory . All in all, more US propaganda and waffle.

This was a fluff interview with the interviewer failing to come back on his replies even when they were obviously not justified by the facts. Also the interviewer seems to be unaware of how unpopular the US is in the world which explains the overwhelmingly critical comments here. As for the conflict with China it is clear to everyone that this is a case of the US trying to maintain their supremacy.

US is in decline. Racism is rising, Dollar is losing out, sanction are not working, losing war in Iraq and Afghanistan, credibility in the world is waning, allies are not coherent with its narrative, losing the trade war with China, militarily losing out to China and Russia and technologically losing out , no 5G etc... Healthcare costs are benefitting the pharma, hospital and doctors. Student are straddle with huge debt and poverty is increasing. Infrastructure is decaying and politics has become polarizing. Wages have been stagnant for at least 3 decades and middle class shrinking. Rich are getting richer and poor becoming homeless. ALL THIS IS BAD NEWS. I would encourage you to also read the history of Blinken. Where did he come from? Is it somehow related to Warburg Pincus? Why is his stepfather Samuel Pisar who was lawyer to Robert Maxwell the father of Ghislaine Maxwell? I wonder why all these names are relevant? What is the relevance of his father Maurice Blinken founder of the American Palestine Institute? Do some more reading. Report back on what you find. We can compare notes. Instead of just talking about how "cool" he looks or how nice his hair is.
