Antony & Larissa - From the first hug

Since his time at São Paulo, Ajax striker Antony has had a special bond with Larissa, a ten-year-old girl from Brazil who is struggling with the consequences of a tumor in her head. At the invitation of Ajax, Larissa came to Amsterdam to meet Antony and have a great time with him in the Netherlands.

Larissa is very special for us, São Paulo FC fans. Her bond with Antony and the other teammates who are still here is beautiful to see. I'm so happy that she was embraced by Ajax as well! Makes me proud of my country and club that this story has been so well received in Brazil. I had a Litmanen shirt on my chest when i was 6 :). This little girl is so brave I hope she had a wonderful time in the Netherlands. I couldn't stop tearing up.
