I did something crazy! Some might consider what I did destroying a valuable award, but in today's video, after unboxing it, I actually went ahead and turned my brand new KZbin Gold Play Button (which we received for hitting 1 million subscribers this year) into an ant farm. I moved in one of our five ant colonies cased on popular vote from a poll on our new KZbin Community Tab. It was truly an exciting, creative, and epic venture, but you will love how the ants react to living inside the new custom-designed Gold Play Button.

This channel isn't just about the ants anymore. I feel it's about nature in general and a saga about families and their adventures. Each ant colony is it's own family, and we keep coming back to see how the families are doing. Just like with any other hit tv series. It's just so entertaining that we can't help but anxiously wait to turn the page to the next chapter of the story. They aren't just ants anymore. They've become people to us in a way. At least that's the way I feel about it as I watch them grow and tackle their various challenges. They remind us of the simple things that are most important in life. And that some of the greatest success stories can come out of the greatest adversities. It's not just ant love, it's people love. Which seems to be in such short supply these days. We can't help but come back to reconnect and feel the love with these ant people in their unique little worlds.

I have a proposal. How about adding at one point a threatening meal in the tubes where they would normally have food. Maybe you could prepare a spider for a few days in a tube to build its web and add it as a threat that they may encounter in the wild to prevent over domestication
