The only reason they were successful is because their general public was disciplined and adhered to guidelines laid down by the government very religiously and the government itself is a totalitarian one. They should use facial recognition systems to ID the people and fine them RS 1000, while also making them clean the mess and also ban them from using the metro for 3 months. This is the only way you can stop the spitting menace in India.

Nice, Mumbai should get at least 400km metro system by 2040. Many Chinese cities built over 300km metro network in a decade since 2010.

T2 is the next station, so just 5minutes. Then there’s Sahar Road, and then T1, which would be around 10-12minutes from Marol Naka.

12 min...rode it on the 1 st day...don't know about present timings..also in terminal T1 . The lift was not working and there is no escalator on the airport side...hence had to carry my back pack and my extra heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs...the lift might be working now

Its incomplete, lots of pending work...no seamless connectivity to airport or other metro lines...this is opened in haste just for the upcoming Maharashtra election, people will use it for commute when the entire line is opened..for now its just for vanity.

Ek baar yeh cuff parade tak chalu ho jayega toh ander paav rakhne ke liye jagah nahi milegi. Andheri highway tak aanewali line T2 airport station pe aake iss se milegi, toh phir cuff parade se Dahisar tak aap T2 pe train change karke ja sakte ho.

Metro started good , but look how ugly the station is just some tiles on which LEDs are reflecting , poor colour combination in interior. The station entrance is looking like a typical square shaped sarkari babu dabba. Why can't we in India get good finished products while smaller countries then us in SEA performing better. Dust can be seen easily. Note - Not against Metro but little criticism about aesthetics
