I felt exactly the same when my T was too high - the question is, is it from the high T or high E2 that comes along with it?
@themenshealthclinic4 жыл бұрын
T:E ratio has remained stable so I believe it’s my levels absolute TT / free T level

So having very low T and having very high T both lead to anxiety. How to know the right dosage . I have very bad anxiety due to very low T and coudnt sleep at night for a months until i found out.... after 2 weeks. On TRT my sleep has normalised but my anxiety is still there

It takes a while for anxiety symptoms to go away because of the hormonal imbalance and waiting for the testosterone to stabilize. For me it took about a month before my mood improved. Anxiety is much less now and depression is basically out the door. Hang in there :)

Great video Doc!👍🏻 A question: were your T levels measured at the peak or at the trough?
@themenshealthclinic10 ай бұрын
Always measure drug / hormone levels in a trough 👍

If we are dealing with anxiety at lowere levels of T. How do bodybuilders deal with it at much more extreme levels?

at 1:35 you say that you’ve not been in the gym so your utilization decrease. Does it suggest that to some extent your testosterone intake is linked to the amount of physical activity you make??
@themenshealthclinic3 жыл бұрын
Catabolism stimulates anabolism. However, primarily your physiology and genetics will determine how much testosterone you will need to achieve healthy hormone levels.

@timtim 1 I'm not a endocronologist but I'd suspect that your E2 levels are too high or too low. Estradiol has a relationship with serotonin production. Too low or too high serotonin could cause social anxiety as per my understanding. If your E2 levels get too high it can cause an issue with androgen receptor sensitivity and you want sensitive androgen receptors to feel the best effects of TRT. I hope you find relief.

@@yasinpatel514 hi mate thanks for your reply and Info I did not know that at all , my estrogen levels were on when I did my bloods but my T levels were way too high at 950
@yasinpatel5143 жыл бұрын
@@1fairhurst No problem. Always check with your doctor for further guidance. Strong morning wood is a good sign that your testosterone and estrogen levels are balanced. There are exceptions ofcourse as I have read cases where individuals with sub-optimal levels may also experience morning wood but these are not the norm. Also, I want to add that if you have any dopamine addictions such as PMO, video gaming addiction, drugs etc, then this can also be a significant factor in causing social anxiety. These activities reduce the D2 receptors (dopamine receptors) and can cause nasty mental effects. As long as your hormones and neurotransmitter production and sensitivity is fine then this could be a complete cure for social anxiety. Non physiological causes such as trauma or fear especially from childhood can also play a role too.

@@yasinpatel514 i dont wake up with morning wood really...im 45..but ive had morning wood here and there...dont do drugs,smoke or drink...do plenty exercise.. ive had childhood trauma yes..this is the main factor,,,but the honey moon period or placebo when my TRT first kick ed in these symptoms disappeared ,then my Testosterone went sky high triple what my doctor said it should be...with that came anger and anxiety etc

Dude, some guys need high levels to feel good, some do not need. Im anxious with lower numbers. So do not extrapolate your needs to everyone. I feel best with around 1400-1500ng/dl total t
@themenshealthclinic4 жыл бұрын
I am not extrapolating my needs to everyone. In my case, an increase in free T from 0.6 to 0.94nmol/l caused me some unwanted anxiety, a subsequent dose reduction has resolved this anxiety and improved my libido. The point of the vlog was to highlight that your TRT protocol needs to be titrated according to your personalised response to therapy. It was to also demonstrate, taking me as the case study, that more isn't always better. I am fully aware, some men feel better with higher numbers, however, I am not one of them. Disappointingly, you've missed the entire point of the vlog.
@Pest874 жыл бұрын
@@themenshealthclinic I agree to that statement, but for some more is better it is very individualized and the vlog sounds to promote different point of view. I also get a point where I get anxiety, above 1500. Also I feel good only on sustanon, enanthate and cypionate dont work for me, but I dont point that out, because for 90 percent of the people is the opposite. You have stated in videos sustanon is terrible, but as you see there are exceptions :)
