I think you’re right about the slapping thing in the training stages and intermittent slapping once they are broke just so there’s no adverse reaction. I think slapping should be discouraged among the human students. People need to learn to not slap horses. They like a scratch and rub. Excellent video! You and Ryan are exceptional horsemen.

What a pretty little grulla! I got dizzy watching! how do you do that! Prior to your handling it shows this mare used high anxiety to save her day which likely got her out of work so reprogramming will take some time but she’s a thinker and there’s no one better than you Steve to set her up for success.
