Probably an unpopular take, but my god these silver rims just look so much "cleaner" than any black ones. I wish they made some kind of classic kidneys with small chrome accent around, just like in the oldern days - basically a 911 GT-Touring spec 😅

The new LCI steering wheel is exactly the same width around the 10 and 2 notches. I have a 2024 and just changed to the LCI steering wheel and measured both, and they are exactly the same. The flat bottom is personal preference, but coming from Audi's, I love it! Looks and feels much more aggressive in my opinion.

Joe you are in your element with the M3! So much knowledge and I had no idea about the LCI. With the subtle changes from the looks it may seem on the face of it the LCI is not worth it but the extra power along with the "CS" inspired tweaks it seems like a great a great update. The car really looks good not sure about the interior bit loud for me does suite the black though. Makes me want one. The G20 shape does suit black but is a challenge to keep looking good, having had a black Golf GTI many years ago and it is maintenance intensive.

I honestly like both. I think the new lights compliments the bottom carbon fiber slant on each side. More cohesive. Imagine a red drl module for them with a blacked out car

Great timing, I just picked up my lci touring here in Australia. I noticed the steering and ride especially straight away compared to previous car. I have a Cayenne gts coupe going into production in Feb for the comfy daily role, and questioning whether I actually need it. I could daily the touring and buy say a 992.2 instead

Great video Joe. The only thing you should say out loud is that the pricing is too high. Nobody is buying these now and similar price points on Audi and Mercs. These cars are tanking in price so much because they are over priced and the motor industry is heading for a reality check. You can pick a used one up next year for I’d say at least £20k. If the dealer keeps the price high even in used the they will just not sell. The economy is also not doing well and it’s been a terrible year next year. So they are not worth the money, sorry but they just aren’t.

i wonder if the tansmission being snappier could have something to do with this car being brand new - i recently heard that the ZF8HP will downgrade its performance after a certain amount of launch control starts / hard shifts. Shortcut button on steering wheel, press for 2 seconds. I had it on a 320i loan car this week while my M3T pre lci was in for warranty work.

The reason the speed limits are reduced is everything to do with the potholes every ten feet, Councils are spending a lot of time fending off claims. And if your local council is anything like mine, They have no interest in compensating motorists for their complete lack of liabilty. UK is a shitshow. Meanwhile back to the cars Joe. @ you might be surprised. I already have a G82 M4 Xdrive pre LCI, the 911 has terrible road noise. Had a 718 4 litre boxster anniversary and it was very clinical, almost boring. Would take the G82 over that any day of the week, there are many more layers to it. The G82 is sublime, but the one criticism is lack of steering feel and ride at less than 20mph.

Alot of people don't talk about it but if u get driving assistance pro it basically drives itself for city and highway and has alot of tech .. it even tells u at red-light when it turns green and stuff like that. BMW bucket seats are ALOT more comfortable then porsche buckets. The 911 is a porsche though and handles and sounds tons better stock for stock. Def a hard choice. Honestly if the 911 is nearly or is fully loaded I'd choose that.

I have always preferred silver wheels. The black wheels desire came from those that like keeping their wheels clean or lazy to clean them, thinking that black wheels would hide the dirt. Black wheels look horrible when scuffed. 🤔

Honestly my new m4 turns way more heads then my old f8x m4 ever got. It looks way more aggresive. Like the person said above. Ur in the minority. The g8x m3 and m4 have been BMWs best selling m3 m4 per year while coming with their highest price tag. If that wasn't the case they would of changed it for the LCI.
