I've been considering this for over 2yrs now. But the market is so ungodly saturated with low content journals, notebooks & planners it just doesn't seem worth it unless you have a big advertising budget or a built in fan base.

You're right to think this way. Marketers have destroyed this opportunity now and flooded Amazon with low quality books. Check out the videos from people who were making money from this 1-2 years ago and they're now moving on from the low content space.

One is JUST the cover, and the other is the cover AND interior. You can make just the cover or you can make the cover AND interior

Hope you can answer. I see a lot of people telling others to sell low content books, however on the first 15 pages amazon does not advertise these. Amazon sells an amazon basics journal that fully opens 180 degrees an option they do not give us if we post low content journals on kdp. THey've also removed isbns for low content. How does one get started in this if amazon has said it doesn't want these books cluttering the market? It seems like the only way to be seen is to dump more money than you earn into advertising. I have also seen the quality of kdp books and they don't seem very user friendly for journals. What advice can you offer?

I have seen many kdp books in my niche on the same first page. Do you mean yours wasn't on the first page? That happens if the correct keyword weren't in the title or chosen. I just uploaded this book and got an isbn, not sure where you saw Amazon not giving out Isbn numbers anymore.

@@KatTheo I mean no low content books on any of the first 15 pages when searching things like journal or notebook. They just aren't showing. Low content books don't have isbns anymore. Haven't for a while. if you try to submit one, they will review it and auto bump it down to low content and have you resubmit it without isbn.

When I look in my download file, both the cover and interior pdf are there. But when I try to upload my cover on KDP, only the interior pdf shows up. Have you seen this problem?

That book bolt is truly complicated without the instructions. I use illustrator and it's pretty much the same thing right

You can use illustrator but bookbolt puts the insides for you and it is super nice that they do the size for you too

Kat, watched you and Marissa for years now. Any simple thing you'd recommend I can do on my Android to bring in daily money.
