I like the idea of using brushes for blending and the sponges as well softened edges

Thanks Jono! Somehow I never seem to be able to get my highlights to look as crisp...think I need to work on how I apply the graphite in order to get those out more easily... And Maya is the star of this video. 😄

The paper can also play a part, there are so many factors to how flexible your graphite might be but the method of application would definitely be a big one. Hope you come right with your highlights!

Do you apply fixative at the end?
@JonoDry7 ай бұрын
I didn’t apply any to this drawing yet, I’m not sure if I might work on it a bit more to add some surrealistic elements. But when it’s finished I will 😊

Jono your work is brilliant, and so helpful. Can I ask what brand of graphite you use to make the powder? I have tried 9B stick but I am not getting the same effect, even on the same paper! At all haha!!! Its sooo light!
