You have no idea how exciting it is to watch your videos man. Just be aware of the self sabotage and be confident that if you overcame it before, you can do it again.

Where did you get the hanging wooden shelves? Trying to work out space for drawing myself and love the idea of the hanging shelf and flexibility to move along the wall. Great!

My personal experience is that when my mind is not in a good place for whatever reason, I tend to crave 'stillness' and serenity in other areas. Almost as if my mind is so full and disorganized with rampant thoughts that I actually need everything else not to be a mess. So an organized, clean space helps with that. (Or getting up at 4 am just so I don't have to hear the sound of cars or encounter any people on my commute to work. 😅) So I think the drive to organize things might have something to do with trying to quiet the mind a bit. Thank you for sharing this video Jono! It works as a good reminder to not be too hard on myself at those moments and just go with the flow.

Nothing beats honesty, and that always comes across in your videos. It's what we need more than anything right now in this world, whether in art or business or our personal lives, and most of all in our politics. Love your work!

I love this format. And it helps me to see others who struggle with the drive to organize things. It is so comforting. Thank you for sharing. I like the idea of allowing space for it despite the fact that it might work against the immediate deadline. The insight for me is living in the immediate future while allowing long term success is okay.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I go through phases of being really on top of my discipline but at the moment its just a bit of a slump

The discipline is likely what got him the talent. It's skill really, admire it and shoot for it yourself. It's not always all natural. Support human artists!

And yet some drop kick will mimic something similar with AI and say he has the same talent and creativity... 😢 (Note: I think AI is a great tool, but I think its ruining the creative arts. I hate when people produce work and say they "created it")

I totally understand this. When I was a teen and a kid I used art as a way to leave the house and chaos behind me. As I grow up, now an adult, it's harder for me to go back to that peaceful mind palace I made as a kid cause I'm burdened with more responsibilities and distractions that comes with age. Focus is huge! For me now, I watch these art videos just to get into the mood and then I'm inspired enough to jump back into that palace and draw. As I write this, I realize that I need to allocate more time to art for without art, I am nothing and I have little meaning. Art is my dream and I can never shake it. It is me, I am it. We all are art.
