Always wondered what was the point of a guide where you're using optimised gear? Good to see creators like you are demonstrating that it's a matter of learning not a matter of gear. Gear is for efficient runs, but most people just wanna get started and try out high level content. Thanks for this!

Cruising through all of your videos today. They are so helpful! Why is protect from range necessary for Ice Demon if we're avoiding his attacks? Just in case we mess up? Or without it, we will take inevitable damage or something? Thank you!
@VideoGameBot7 ай бұрын
Its not necessary if you do it perfectly. But just incase you risk messing up, losing a tick, going to slow/too fast, etc. Pray range forces him to always use his "ice boulder" attack. If you dont pray range, you risk him using a 3x3 ice barrage attack, which hits very hard, and freezes you in place. OUCH!

In normal gear(bandos, trident,bowfa, bp no freezes) is it still better to brute force baby and mamadile like you did or is chopping better?
@VideoGameBot8 ай бұрын
Since the recent CoX updates chopping the tree is not the best play anymore (it used to be the best option before the recent cox changes). I suggest trying to freeze both of them. You can use a ZGS or freeze spells, but ZGS is definitely recommended for mama muta. You can kill them while theyre frozen! If you have absolute no freeze methods, I still think brute force is better than chopping? Especially if baby is far away from the tree. But sadly, I can't confirm.

This might be a dumb question, but if I use an alt account to scout a raid, would it be scaled to a duo even if the alt account leaves? Or would it be a solo scaled raid? Would it be easier to just keep the items in my inventory of the rooms I want to do and just scout on the actual account until I find the right layout? Thanks.

Let’s GOOO new videogamebot video just dropped. Great video as always. I’ve been sending solos since I saw your old video. Done 5 solos and nearly got a deathless one! I’d love if you could do a video just like this one for the other bosses too! I’ve tried the big four legged one and it killed me a couple times I never knew what to do with the teleport mechanic. Any rooms you would recommend to completely avoid? Secondly I’d love a follow up to your old video where you talk about “where to go from here”. I’ve just about mastered the melee pattern and final head phase pattern. I’d love to see what you recommend for the next more advanced technique! Thanks for everything you put out!!

I show how to do every single room in cox, using simple strategies :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYubiWqBe56qeKc "Where to go from here": well, if you've mastered 3:0 mage and either 4:1 or 3:1 melee (I have guides on all of these methods), the next step up is very significant. We are now going into grandmaster/world record speedrun territory. These methods are called 12:0 shadow, and "World Scythe". As of right now, I do not have plans to upload such advanced techniques.

@VideoGameBot7 ай бұрын
realistically you dont need this many stams. I brought way more than necessary, but I was in such low level gear I didnt know how many I would need. I would basically assume (especially while learning) that you would bring at least 2-3 into olm. And *MAYBE* 1 more for the full raid, depending on your rooms. 3 is a pretty safe bet, and eventually you will realize you only need 2.

You dont necessarily need this exact layout. I recommend staying away from rooms that start with the letter "V" (Vasa, vespula, vanguards). Most other rooms are fairly learner friendly, but you might want to do your farming on the first floor instead of the 2nd floor depending on how much damage youre taking early on.

Its somewhat random. You will always get either 5 or 6 rooms (plus the boss) in a normal mode run. If you get a 6 room raid, you can exit/enter again, or simply reset at the stairs, and it will give you a new random layout.

Tightrope is pretty simple, Just kill each monster 1 at a time while praying against them. But they do a lot of damage in budget runs, so best to stay away from them if running in super budget gear. Bofa makes it much easier. Vespula, I suggest staying away from in budget gear without a bofa at the minimum. Just tried this believing you when you said that this is easy and anybody can do it. I went in with 300 million worth of gear and the Shamans WRECKED me. Went through 6 brews, my room didn't have a safe spot like the one in your video but between my gear and prayer I feel like I should not have been getting damaged so bad. Also I am 99 ranged but i could not for the life of me get a hit on the mystics using a DHCB ruby dragon bolts e AND RIGOUR!!!! Which caused me to end up using the rest of my supplies and having to quit. So now I am finding it extremely hard to believe that an average player using the gear shown in the video minus the Zuk helm and cape would be capable of doing this solo. Not to mention the INSANE amount of time it takes to scout a raid layout like this and the fact you have to do it EVERY time you do a raid makes this in my opinion completely not worth it unless you are an iron.
@VideoGameBot8 ай бұрын
Mystics can do a lot of damage with low gear setups. But shamans should be zero damage room with a little practice (all meaningful damage in shaman room comes from poison blobs not being avoided). Even without a safespot. I messed up the safespot on second shaman, and showed how to circle the room while hugging the wall. Everything takes a little practice.
