Like the idea but I would add a interchange track so you conect to the rest of the world too. That adds some additional features to the layout too.

@@nscaler454 putting it under the grain track is all you have to simulate an off layout interchange

@@jolliemark6294 I feel like the tunnel and the 3 other spots where trains exit/emerge behind backdrops gives the illusion the railroad is connected to the rest of the world. Thanks the ideas, I will keep it in mind.

Like you, I am building a large addition to my layout. I had to relearn Anyrail since it’s been a while since I used it. Your videos have been very helpful! My only question on yours is the placement of your coal mine. The conveyor is running toward the facia. Is that what you intend? If you flip it 180 degrees it would face inward and the truck dump would be facing forward. Just an idea. Thank you. Great videos!

The coal mine used in Anyrail is a bit different than the one going on the actual layout. The plan is not use it as an actual coal mine, so it will be setup a bit differently anyways. Thanks for mentioning it though, I like when people spot these types of details.

Hello. I've just started with anyrail. Been working with it but completely computer illiterate. How in the world do you find the structures? I've looked in user objects, object libraries but there is hardly anything for buildings or scenery. Just some generic trees, an few structures. Please help.

Seems like there is alot of open space in the very center not being used. Also, as a suggestion, you could install braces under the table with a Kreg screw system. Then you can avoid the danger areas for turnouts and such.

Hi, Your tourn around section for your freight local train is too short, make it a little bit longer please by setting the right crossover turnouts more to the right of thr middle section tacks more close to your plastics factory.

If you are designing/planning a relatively large layout, then I think it is worth it. Definitely has been worth it to me. Those doing a smaller 4x8 layouts with Unitrack, I don't think it makes sense.
