I'm testing out a variation of Anything But 7. Assuming $5 table, start out with a pass line bet, if it wins on the come out, throw it in the field (it's essentially a free bet so why not). Once a point is established, cover the rest of the numbers with a single unit, then throw $1 on Any Craps and $1 on Eleven (the app I'm practicing on doesn't have C+E), $34 at risk. Every hit, add $5 in odds (if 5/9 is point, you can either alternate $6 then $4, or do $10 every other time) until max odds, recover the C+E. The goal is to score a max odds point hit to recover initial investment. At that point, you can either collect your winnings every hit while replacing your C+E, press the place bets with the winnings, cover the hardways or all the horn bets, whatever floats your boat. I always make sure to keep max odds at all times at that point

In the field you can bet any amount that meets or exceeds the min table limit. In this video it was a $5 table so the strategy suggested starting with a $12 field, which I guess because its approx half of the place bet on the 5? And after a couple hits regressed it down to the table min of $5

Depends on if you are betting on a dice setter. If they are setting All-7, 3V, or hardways on a come-out that’s a bad idea. If they are setting 6-5 or 6-6 then Field is okay to bet on the come-out; along with C&E

Indeed, statistically it doesn't matter if you've got your bets working on the CO, but personally, I like them off, especially when I'm not the shooter because pass line players are rooting for a 7 on the CO. It's not superstition, I just don't want to be the big loser when others are getting paid on the CO. I'd also recommend getting completely off the table after 4 hits. In fact, I'm more comfortable getting off the table after 3 hits and waiting for the point or 7-out to start my investment over once the next point is established. Even if the hits keep coming after I pull everything down I don't regret what I'm not winning, but we all certainly have some regret when we lose bets we could (should?) have pulled down. Great demo!
@hulenbryant56375 жыл бұрын
Jeff, I've been doing the same thing as of late. If I'm working the 6/8 on the come out, I'll usually pull the bets back to the table min or close. There have been a few times that the shooters rolled a couple of 7's during the come out in a row and while everyone else is getting paid (and liking it) I'm eating my 6/8 and field bets. I've been more inclined to just stay off on the come out and enjoy everyone else celebrating the pass line wins. Usually I only play the pass line if I'm shooting. If I do play the pass line and feel the need for a craps check, I use the field as a craps check, not an any craps bet.
@ThePepperfly5 жыл бұрын
@@hulenbryant5637, when I'm shooting I might not be so apt to take down my bets. But when a random shooter is up, that's when I plan to manage my bets down after x hits. Another way I often play on a random shooter is to place $100 across ($30/$10/$10 inside-out) and take down the bets evenly as they hit (say, 9 hits, I take down both 5 & 9), and get completely off the table after the 4th roll (not 4th hit!). I agree with you about using the field for a craps check. I don't consider that a hedge bet the same way a one-roll horn bet is. Still, I'm on the fence about missing out on the craps check to risk only raking the difference between the place winners and field losers. Regression or taking down completely is obviously up to the player's discretion, and what was especially good about this vid is that Jeremy declared at what point he would regress and demonstrated the strategy well. Still, 4 hits is a threshold that's statistically a bit high for me, and the butterflies in my gut were begging him to take it all down, not just regress it. ;-)

I am by no means a Craps expert but the greatest piece of wisdom I have learned and will share with absolute confidence in its effectiveness is NEVER LEAVE YOUR PLACE BETS WORKING ON THE COME OUT. I like the idea of the strategy, but I would use a $25 field, collect each time the field hits and press the inside evenly each time it hits, keeping the field at $25. After 2 presses, regressing to $34 or $51. The first press would be 35/42/42, the second (drop $2) to 50/60/60. It’s hard to recoup after a 7 out without some sort of pressing. If pressing twice is too much, even if you only pressed once each roll would pay $24/25/50

So when 5 6 or 8 hit you win 20 and keep going If a field bet hits you win 9. Naturally if you roll a 7 you lose by at least pocket back 15 bucks Yes you’re giving back 3 dollars every roll. Average roll is 4-5 rolls, I’ve watched this time and again to see if that’s true, i use my 1$chips to count, turn off your bets before the 5th roll, unless you have a good shooter. I set the dice so I roll longer, so I leave the bets longer, but i turn them off even if I’m shooting. No need to lose that amount from your bankroll. You can always turn them back on. People don’t turn them off for fear of missing out, unless you’re only playing for a short time, this saving of your bankroll allows you to play longer. I’ve paid attention to this, it’s usually a roll or two after i turn them off that a 7 appears, i look psychic...when all I’m doing is counting. I have players ask how did you know?? Count people.

I don't see why the field gets the smallest bet. The 5/6/8 have $25/$30/$30, and the field bet is just $12. The field pays 16 times out of 36 , and the 5/6/8 combined will pay only 14 times out of 36. Even allowing for place bet odds, the field returns about the same as the 5/6/8. If the session had been played with the same money on the field as put on the 5 ($25/$10), the bankroll at the end of the session would have been $237 instead of $213.

The strategy is stupid. It is especially stupid for somebody with a $300 bankroll. With $300, the person should just watch until somebody rolls a 10 on a come out. Then they should lay the $300 against the 10. Hopefully they have loose dollars in their wallet for the vig. That is their best chance to win early and go up by $150. For anybody reading this comment, you're welcome. Don't be a stupid gambler. My advice for the day.

Each roll there is a 1 in 13 chance of a 10 rolling. If you wait till after a 10 is rolled, there is still a 1 in 13 chance it will roll. Why are you waiting and watching for a 10 to roll? Just curious.
@russellgrimes8113 жыл бұрын
@@ColorUp Because there is a 1 in 13 chance of the ten rolling. Chances are greater than 90 percent the person will win $150. Chances of losing the $300 using your system are exponentially higher. If the person wins and now has a $450 bankroll, that same person has more ammunition. The bigger the bankroll the more diverse strategies one can employ. In my opinion, regardless of bankroll, people should always bet conservatively if they want to win money consistently. The money adds up. No need to win huge.
