Thanks for the video Gaz, you actually don't need to remove the cover and move the jumper at all, unless you want to add the 15m Ham Band. It is just a button press for 11m (CB Band). I wonder why Dealers are charging £25.00 to open them up, when it is so simple?.

Yes just make sure you don't use saved configs from a none 15 metre converted - 15 metre converted, and vice versa. It will cause the software to crash out. Also the same with the software version to the firmware version also.

just a general question in which you probably don't know the answer to is- it says it has PA in the Menu but doesn't have a PA Speaker Jack at the rear of Radio, why?

Yes I suppose it would. so cb call it 11mtrs 5.5 feet of wire?? 49:1 un un try it ?? It might work but to be honest no point a 18 foot dipole is achievable in most places .. gaz

Yes, it does 21 to 29Mhz until you set it back to Hamband (if you ever do)
