@ 4:00 So the lowest energy state is when the N-pole of the small magnet is pointing to the N-pole of the big magnet? Well, not in my world. There, the bulk-magnetization vector can't point in the same direction as the external field.

if the offset (big omega, after 41:00) is detected, does that mean it is impossible to see signals exact at the transmitter (resonant) frequency. Signals at exactly e.g. 5ppm would be undetectable...strange behaviour! :)
