Great song from the loving heart of a mother. A strong message for middle schoolers to sing in chorus too!

I'm 64 years old and I didn't sing in church...I'm a Pagan and when I was young, I was in the Greek Orthdox Ukrainian rite, and they sang I Ukrainian, so, I didn't know Ukrainian. But I was in public education and sang in chorus there.

The melody, the text, the vocalization, the instrumentals - everything is simply beautiful and "light" (?)

man this is so good. haven't listened to a ton of Aoife's solo music, but I've enjoyed lots of her guest appearances and this has made me realize it might be time to actually giver her solo work a serious listen. Her vocal performance on this song reminds me of Gillian Welch and that is anything but a bad thing!
