Thanks for the useful information. Completed biometric for h4 EAD and got the card. Did the biometric for 485 last month and now they have scheduled for biometric for 765 again? This is the 3 rd biometric this year, do I have to do it again or can they use the existing one for my 485? Thanks

You cannot decide on reusing the biometrics. It is CIS who will decide🙂 don’t go by happy path assumptions and get into 485 denial for missing bio appt.

My current h1 is till march 2023 , my priority date with employer A (former ) is current.but my employer B (current )has not initiated the process yet.if employer B initates process after 6 months ,considering time taking for labour and perm it might take another 1 year wait , total 1.6 year wait time in that situation will i be able to extend my h1 even after my i 485 is current ? Will i lose my priority date ? It was only mentioned in few places online that we can extend h1b based on approved i140 until the priority date is current ,ther was no mention of this scenario of getting extension on h1b on approved i140 from employer A after the date is current provided not applied for i 485 yet. ?

Quick question, Based on an inquiry about the renewal of the EAD and Advance parole cards. We received approval with the notice of action for i-765, i-131, and with the i-485 notice of deficiency the last time. We never received notice of action for I-485 but USCIS mailed deficiency of notice. I'm wondering if it's okay to include the I-485 notice of deficiency with the other documents for renewing my work authorization and Advance parole cards?

Hi I was downgraded from EB2 to Eb3 and I got my EAD/AP. If I use AP to travel india and come back, is there any risk for my upgrade to EB2 back? If my priority date becomes current in EB2
