Bertholdt was Reiner's real true friend. Always had his back, until the bitter end. Didn't have any alternative motive in being his friend, outside of wanting to do so. True friendship!

This was made super well. It has quality music, editing, and story. The only thing I wish is that you would have included the flashback scene of Reiner breaking the wall . Him saying that his mother lived for a dream she knew was hopeless, and that he had to do something before he died, was really powerful

So much sacrifice and so vague ending. This series could have really been stretched to 2 more seasons and still would maintain its plot. But i guess it is what it is, we need to accept it.

I just wish Reiner,Bertholdt did talk no jutsu with Erwin and explained why they didn't have any choice. They would have joined hands and with zeke together would have liberated eldians from intermittent zone and story would have been different. But it would not be AOT i guess. As Marco said they didn't even talk

Well, if they spoke to Erwin, there's always the chance that they could eventually be betrayed or taken advantage of by the other Scouts. Granted, I feel Zeke could've also been more open, but the caution is understandable

Zeke's goal was never to end the internment zones. And even if it was, I'm not sure why you think they could liberate the internment zones at all. Stopping Eldians internment was a lie Marley said to help convince Eldians to fight for them. They never had any intention of actually rewarding Eldians with freedom of they did their jobs well

Well remember, Erwin was not there when Reiner had his breakdown, so there was no way they could talk to him before things got out of control. By the time they saw Erwin again, he was leading a charge of titans towards them and they already captured Eren. Talking was never going to happen.

They're both right. But Eren is more right. Reiner knew all along what they were doing was wrong, but he convinced himself to be the hero, whereas Eren had no idea why the things were happening to them, and he was made a villain by people he had never even met and had war declared on him. So Eren essentially acted in self defense, while Reiner is on the side of perpetrator, despite his family being essentially hostage in Marley.
